I did not ever plan to stay a night in Copacabana, but due to a roadblock my plans to go to Puno had to change. I stayed the night at Hostal 6 de Agosto for 40 BOB/night - shared room with friends, private bathroom. I'd say it was a little pricey (for Bolivia) for such basic accommodations, but Copacabana is...

My boyfriend and i stayed there for three nights. After that we wanted to visit Isla del Sol and so put our backpacks in their storage. We also paid for that. After one night we came back and found our bags opened and all the money was missing. We confronted the hostelowner with that but he just said many people...

The title says it all in my opinion. The room was pretty nice and comfortable (and private shower with warm water!) but the bed was just terrible. We kept waking up because our backs were hurting.. For 1 night it is ok, but I would not have stayed for a 2nd night... breakfast also not included, but copacabana is full...

Super cheap Hostal that's good for one night. Do not expect hot water. No kitchen, WiFi is on at certain times. Good and close by to the port so it is easy access to Isla Del Sol. No english reception.

Only 30 bolivianos for a single room with bed, outlet, table, nightstand. Bathroom and shower situation not ideal but if staying only one night I wouldn't sweat it. Very central location with reliable wifi. Signage was posted with certain wifi available hours (most of the day, ends 9 pm though) but they did not seem to shut it off as...

For 30 bolivianos a night (1 bed in a 4 bed room) this place was very cheap. The good: once the wifi got going it worked quickly and well (hard to find in Copa!), central location, warm bedding, reasonably clean. The bad: very uncomfortable beds in room 206, dodgy looking wiring in shower, the boys at the front desk need...

This is a real bargain and the owner was very friendly, but you do get what you pay for. I first stayed in the dorm (which was sadly empty, both times I stayed here I didn´t meet anyone. Perhaps it needs a common area) and you have to go downstairs to the bathroom. The second time was with friends in...

Hostel is convenitnely located near the main square, all the restaurants and the marina. The bedroom was a bit cold and beds were somewhat uncomfortable, but the shower was hot and the breakfast was nice. Overall, good value for the money (50bs).

Booked a double room with private bathroom. Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever experienced in our 6 months of travelling South America with a very funky smell coming from the bathroom. We both got an electric shock from the shower, extremely unsafe when you are standing on a wet floor. We were told breakfast was included in the...
