This is ok. It's very centrally located near bus station, restaurants and the beach. There is free wifi which is ok. The showers have hot water but isn't the greatest of all time. There is a free breakfast but it's rather limited. The staff never seemed to be around either. Never much of an atmosphere here. It's fine for a...

We had a matrimonial with an extra bed (?). Shower was warm, waterpressure didn't exist. We were on the street side, which was extremely noisy because of the primary school next to it and the people shouting for buses to la paz ALL the time. I can see why we only had to pay 70 for that room...

Basic facilities, lackluster WiFi and unfriendly staff. Breakfast was included and is as basic as it gets - mostly stale bread, a small selection of fruit and coffee. The only positive about this Hostel is that it was in a pretty good location

We stayed a few nights there. The place is not amazing but does the job. Beds are correct, bathroom was clean. Breakfast was quite nice with fresh pineapple juice and you could get as much bread as you want. It was a buffet-type with bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee, hot milk and juice. They hold onto our luggage while we...

We stayed three nights at this crappy hostal, mainly because it was really cheap. When we checked in around midday the breakfast was still set up and it looked exactly the same the next morning when we went to acutally have breakfast. The kitchen was full of dirty dishes as well as the "bar". The guy in charge for breakfast...

Tired rooms, tepid hot water, bad Wi-Fi, grumpy/miserable staff, lots of road noise from the constant procession of buses pulling up outside, stayed one night and moved on to the Mirador down by the lake. Bigger rooms, better breakfast, Wi-Fi and stunning lake views all for 100 Bobs !

The staff is really really rude. On arrival we made a deal with the woman behind the counter. They had no matrimonial rooms available, so we agreed to stay in a 3-bed-dorm instead,on the condition that the price would include breakfast. The next morning we went to have breakfast, but the extremely bad tempered serving guy snatched our breakfast tickets...

We had a great stay in this hostal. Big room with a nice view on the lake. It was cheap and breakfast included! The inner courtyard was good, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, there are better in 'town'. Also the staff could use some (a lot of) motivation.

We tried to stop by Hostal Colonial's restaurant to have an early lunch as we needed to kill some time before our boat to Copacabana left. We went inside and were basically kicked out immediately by very unfriendly staff. One guy's answer to our question "Is this place open?" was simply "I will not serve you!". I believe him, that...

The staff was really rude. (not with me but with others) The beds are comfy enought. The hot water doesnt last long, at least we had a room with a lovely view. The prices are ok for what it is. We didnt had electricity for a while but this is normal in copacabana it happens ofthen.
