The first room we were shown the door didn't close- we complained and moved. Our 2nd room had two doors to the corridor, both had glass smashed on the windows next to them which were perfectly placed to reach through and unlock the doors from the outside. We barricaded the door at night! 100bs for a 'double' room was too...

When you walk into Familiar Residencial, it looks like a really nice, posh place, offering wifi, a gym and pool table. It’s a kind of place we’d never walk into but unfortunately all the other cheap hotels near the centre of Cochabamba were all booked up. So we walked into the slick looking hotel and were told a double-bed room...

Very unfriendly staff, shabby rooms and not worth the price. Kitchen cannot be used during most if the day because staff cook there, very unprofessional. The positives of this place are the location and the sunny courtyard, but these don't make up for the lack if courtesy shown by the staff. Don't believe the guide books, this place is not...

positive things first: ------------------------ 1.We arrived at 5:30 am and could enter the hostel at this early point of time and even get into our roum without paying for an extra night. 2.The courtyard is beautiful and the rooms are big. negative aspects: ---------------------- 1.The young men at working at the reception was very unfriendly and not helpful in any...

In short: avoid. Staff was unfriendly and lazy. There were loads of roaches in the central patio. Shared bathrooms were completely run down. And the doors barely locked and could easily be opened... It could be a nice place with some effort, but it's not and the unwilling, unhelpfull staff makes it even worse. And our room was right next...

We were recommended this place by someone that is volunteering in Cochabamba and were nervous about it because of the reviews on here. We were pleasantly surprised: - clean, spacious, comfortable room with private bathroom (can't comment on shared rooms/bathrooms) - tv with loads of channels - good wifi - kitchen - pleasant open social areas The staff were often...

We stayed only one night at Res familiar (Room with our double bed and two other empty beds, shared bathroom, 100 B/night). The hostel could be soo nice but it's not. The room had old furniture, mattresses were not really good, the walls were that dirty that already disgusting. The shared bathrooms were okay. The Staff seemed really unmotivated and...

the location is great, very close to the main square and the price is good too (50B's) but the staff are very lazy and unhelpful, the place and bathrooms are dirty (there was dog pee and poo in one area that remained uncleaned for the 2 days I was there), the wi fi is decent but doesn't reach the back...

Great location and nice building from the outside, wifi works, but its a shame the owners dont care about customers. The young guy is watching tv whole day, very unfriendly and generally totally bored, dont say hola or anything. Better dont ask him for anything. Many lil children and babys seems to have a playground here, so be prepared for...

We stayed two nights at this hospedaje in Cochabamba. We stayed in a three bed room, the beds were uncomfortable and somelike the ones you would imagine in a prison. The service was not good, det staff was very indifferent and it was hard to get their attention and service, when needed. During the two days they didn't clean the...

“The hotel consist of 2 floors, we tried one on the upper floor and it was quite (southern) and then moved to ground floor on west side and it was greater and cleaner.”
