I have stayed at the Blue Crab Resort for 1 week and I found it rustic and quaint. As a Hotelier myself I find it frustrating that travellers visiting a 3rd world country expect to find a Holiday Inn or Best Western, with all of their ammenities and standards.....Seinne Bight is an impoverished villiage, there are no highways there, The...

In short: Pro: Neat rooms right at the beach, everybody's extremely friendly, free bikes available, WiFi, too. Con: If you came for beach parties, then Seine Bight is probably not where you want to be. Will we be back: Absolutely! :-) Rooms and stuff: Rooms were quaint, simple, and neat. We stayed in an air conditioned room (highly recommended as...

We went to Belize looking for clean beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. When booking our hut at the Blue Crab in Seine Bight that is what we were promised. However upon arriving at the Blue Crab we found their beach to be covered in trash, most alarmingly hypodermic needles and tampons. It did not take long to realize...

Linn is an exceptional hostess. She hooks you up with all the great tour guides and has beautiful grounds. If you dig the backpacker hotel feel then you'll love the cabana. The view is incredible! If you want an authentic Belize experience away from the tourist towns then Seine Bight & Blue Crab are your match. The people are really...

My husband (boyfriend back then) surprised me with a trip to Belize in March 2007 during my college spring break. (We're not the Miami Beach partying type.) We stayed at the Blue Crab for 5 nights, and loved it. Linn is very helpful with booking your excursions, and recommending restaurants (and knowing their schedules as most places are open only...

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Crab Resort 4 nights in late February, 2010. Linn Wilson is a warm, attentive, kind hostess. Her introduction and orientation made us feel welcome, and she was genuinely interested in our comfort and satisfaction over the course of our stay. The beach was at our door and the edge of the water...

I stayed at the Blue Crab for 2 nights and 3 days. There are two types of accomodations...A)one-room cabanas with modern bathroom and grass thatched roof (like a tiki-hut) that are 20 feet from the water crashing into the sand, and B)Cabins with front porch that looks out onto Caribbean ocean (about 40 feet from the water), modern bathroom and...

The owners have all but given up doing upkeep on this property and while it has a good beach location, the accomodations are very poor and not kept up. Further to the last review, the beds and linens have improved, but not the bathrooms or the standards of cleanliness. The beach loungers and chairs are all falling apart (wooden) and...

Travellers have different experiences-even at the same locations. All you have to do is read a few reviews! Here is our experience last week at the Blue Crab in Seine Bight. What was good-beautiful section of beach, white sand, palm trees clear up to the edge of the water, no neighbors on either side, very private. Dinner menu-expertly prepared asian...
