My spouse and I have been Pecco and Gail's guests at the Highland Lake Inn since the day they took over this beautiful inn. They inherited us as guests from the previous owners....and we keep coming back....and coming back...and coming back ! We estimate we have stayed more then 15 times.....our last stay was filled with much exciting conversation .....festive and...

Loved my sunny, yellow room with its crisp linens and immaculate bathroom. We were well cared for from the moment we arrived until we left. I'm homesick now for Pecco's cooking, especially his decadent version of toast. A warm, comfortable spot for a retreat.

I've run numerous small (5-15 participants) writing retreats at various inns and hotels around the country. My most recent 3-day event at the Highland Lake Inn was exceptional, fulfilling the expectations of a "retreat" in every way. The accommodations were luxurious yet homey. Each room was spacious and spotless, repleat with fluffy bedding, TV sets, lovely amenities, and comfortable working...

Stayed at Highland Lake Inn last October with Sally. Recalling that trip and writing this note makes me want to return. Pecco and Gail were so gracious and interesting, you couldn't imagine better hosts. The old house was beautiful, with just the right amount of modern upgrades to make it very comfortable without losing any of its original charm. Besides...

Gail's schedule permitted only a few, but warm moments. Pecco, on the otherhand, was not only welcoming but completely committed to our stay and chatty! He was a delight to talk to and made our stay even more pleasant -- including a perfect reservation at a solid local restaurant. The room was very comfortable highlighted by Pecco's weak spot for...

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway to enjoy the fall colors in NH this October, and we were really glad to have stayed at The Highland Lake Inn B&B in Andover. Pecco and Gail are charming hosts, helping us right from directions from the freeway where we were stuck on Friday evening - the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the at Highland Lake Inn. The creature comforts of accomodation and good food easily met with our approval. What impressed most though, were the endearing and lively personalities of the hosts, Gail and Pecco. Very professional, and the table conversations were always so interesting, with an added slice of humor. A wonderful vacation experience....

Thank you Pecco and Gail for a warm welcome and comfortable stay. We really felt at home from home, but with really well ironed sheets! Lovely beach and lake swimming, generous and informative hosts.

We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted with smiles and suggestions for activities around the area. But the view of the channel at Highland Lake made us abandon any thoughts of traveling around that afternoon. Instead we walked along the channel to the beach at the lake and spent a most enjoyable afternoon swimming and relaxing while enjoying the magnificent...

Spent 3 nights at Pecco and Gail's so my husband could get some relaxation before and after participating in the Mooseman 70.3. Nothing was too much trouble. Several other guests were staying for the same event, and Pecco was up at 4.30a.m. on Sunday to serve breakfast for the athletes and their supporters. The area is beautiful, and Pecco offered...
