We did not know what to expect apart from the great comments on TripAdvisor. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and felt like if we were visiting family. Pecco was great at suggesting activities to make our stay the most enjoyable and relaxing possible. Gail was also a formidable hostess. They were both very attentive to our needs. We...

We spent two enjoyable nights at the Inn. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were so comfortable. The hospitality of Pecco and Gail was unsurpassed. Their knowledge of this area was tremendously helpful to the success of our visit to Andover. We look forward to returning.

It was our first time in this area and what a beautiful spot! The Inn is partly overlooking the Lake, it is a quaint and quiet yet enchanting New England setting. Being hoteliers by trade, we were so surprised by the quality aspect - luxury bathroom amenities from Molton Brown and super linens, great breakfast. And just loved the friendly...

My family's stay here was so excellent, there are only a few things to simply say about the place: 1) You couldn't find a more hospitable environment. Gail and Pecco are the best! 2) The rooms are beautifully done; the bathrooms spotless, and the beds are dreamy to sleep in. 3) Most delicious breakfast I've ever had to this very...

This is a very pleasant place to stay for either business or vacation trips. The owners of this place Pecco and Gail are very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with so many different variety of high quality teas. Pecco has such great sense of humor and we had good chat every morning during breakfast time. I would recommend this place to...

There are many great places to stay in New Hampshire but this is not one of them! The owners are better at the art of deception than running a Bed & Breakfast. What you see on the website is not what you find when you arrive. The Inn has 10 guestrooms but only 12 total rooms. The common area is...

This is a very comfortable place to spend the night. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My spouse is very sensitive to must and mold and experienced no problems whatsoever here. The living room is not large but is cozy. The innkeepers, in particular, Pecco, make this place special. Pecco is an amusing fellow who has seen a bit of...

We were in Andover, NH for our daughter's wedding and chose to stay at Highland Lake Inn. It is a charming home and the room was also very nice. The owners, Pecco and Gail, were absolutely delightful. At first Pecco seemed a bit over the top, but we soon realized that he was the consumate B&B proprietor. As was his...

This was the first stop on a Granite States Vacation Inn to Inn Bike Tour. Our room was wonderful and the food and hospitality was excellent. Perfect setting for a send off to the roads. We had excellent on road assistance from Pecco, and as he warned us the trip would be hilly, and it was! Beautiful scenery and a...

Conversation over a wonderful breakfast on the porch: Like being in Europe again for the first time since I lived there in the 70s. If you appreciate the fine art of conversation -- as well as a lovely, quiet inn atmosphere -- you'll love this place. The host and hostess are unique, interesting people, and they attract other unique, interesting...
