The check in and check out was good. Service friendly. The late check out help us greatly with our travel plans. Called ahead for the reservation this worked well. This was a late night check in that worked out very well.

Very clean, very small room. Friendly staff. No place to eat in town at 6pm on a Monday night except gas station takeout. I would recommend this place as it is good for the money. We paid $65 which included tax.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay in the middle of nowhere!!! There wasn't a lot to do which is what we wanted. There were two places to eat in town but being that we were there on the tail end of tourist season, we had to find 3 dinner meals from the two food marts at the gas stations. There...

We stayed at the Pony Canyon Motel while travelling East on our US 50 "Loneliest Highway in America" trip. It was the right distance from Fallon the day before. Our first choice was the Cosy Motel, but it was booked as of the morning of arrival, much to our surprise. We called the Pony Canyon and made a reservation. Its...

So obviously choices are limited in the area. The lady who took our reservation and checked us in was super sweet. The rooms are a little old but it was very clean. Our room didn't have A/C, but it had 3 fans and luckily it didn't get to hot. Located right next to the gas station and walking distance to...

There aren't many motels to choose from and this one was available. My family and I were not expecting much, however, we were quite surprised. The owner was very nice and accommodating. They do allow pets if you needed to know. The room we took had three beds plenty of space the kids and adult. The room had a medium...

The Pony Mountain is a good bet for an overnight in Austin. I have given this little Ma and Pa motel a 4 star rating in comparison to other Ma and Pa motels I have stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean, although it was an older facility. The TV was a newer flat screen. The bed was comfortable and...

The room was clean - and that's about all I can say. It smelled like cleanser and opening everything didn't seem to help the smell dissipate. The walls are thin and my 'neighbor' was very noisy, coming and going and slamming doors often. I realize that is not the fault of the establishment, but there were other rooms available so...

On the 'Loneliest Highway in America' there are not a lot of choices. If you're near Austin, then the Pony Mountain Motel is a good Place to stay. The rooms are small, but they are clean. The beds are soft but very comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. A pleasant stay overall. the Pthe Poney

I stayed at this motel for one night, and it was exactly what I needed for the journey I was taking. I had been on the road for a little more than 200 miles, and with another 400 miles to go, I was more than happy to stop for rest in the small, historic town of Austin, Nevada for a...
