We stayed in Casa Al Tronco for three nights and it was the nicest guesthouse that we stayed in in Bolivia. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The owner is lovely, caring and very hands on - she makes you feel very welcome and at home. Delicious breakfast can be arranged on request. The guest house is located up...

We had a shared bathroom however seemed only we were using it which was a bonus. The courtyard was very pretty with places to...

Wow - what a place. We were greeted by the gracious host Tanya who showed us to our stunning room with views over the lights of Sucre. A small walk down the hill and you're in the centre of the action (get a public collectivo or taxi back up - it's too much in that heat!!). The room was very...

Casa al Tronco is a family-run accommodation at the top of a hill in Sucre. There are 3-4 rooms here; since there aren't too many, it's quite peaceful - it was perfectly tranquil during my 4-day stay here. The top floor has the kitchen with an amazing view; additionally, there is a patio off the kitchen where you could happily...
