We decided to treat ourselves as we had been in basic accommodation for a while and were very happy that we did, the place is fantastic, run by a lovely Belgium man Rene who goes out of his way to be of assistance. We booked a superior room which was £11 pppn and it was huge, we felt like we...

Rene, the owner, definitely makes Casa Verde special. A kind Belgian man, he is helpful with everything, from coordinating the reservation details, to waiting the morning breakfast table (in our case, with multiple rounds of coffee), to securing a radio-movil in the midst of the carnaval craziness. Owners like this are rare in Bolivia and reason enough to stay here....

The owner of the hostel is so helpful and informative. The breakfast is amazing too - bacon and eggs, fruit, hot chocolate, cereal, toast, bread. The place was very clean and the room was big enough for four!

okay, maybe not that hard but my 12yo son definately appreciated propery cooked eggs, tasty bread and non watered down juice. We spent nights in a room (USD45) which opened onto the courtyard. Our room had a loft which contained a double bed and aqnother downstairs. This was such a nice place to recover after roughing it for a couple...

This hostel is in a great location central to the old town area of Sucre. The hostel is clean with plenty of places to sit and relax both indoors and outdoors. There is WIFI, computers for use by guests and a great breakfast including eggs and bacon. The room we had was big with a large bathroom also. There are...

Tired of stressful Bolivia, packed buses, blocked roads and dodgy taxi drivers? Casa Verde is the perfect place to spend some time recovering from the hustle and bustle of Bolivia. The rooms are very nice, very clean, very well sized (ours @ $30 a night had an upstairs lounge area), there is a nice pool area with chairs/loungers around it...

This is simply a great place to stay, clearly the best one in our entire trip. And guess what, the price range is very cheap. Sometimes you pay what you get, here you get a lot for what you pay. The bedrooms are very quiet, all in the inside patio area. The breakfast is very good: fruit, orange juice, eggs,...

Stayed here just one night but would have liked to have had the time to stay longer. Rene who runs the place was very helpful. The b&b has a nice common area with two computers for guest use and a kitchen that you can use. The bedroom was spotless and had a nice bathroom. The breakfast was juice, musli, eggs...

We were a Mission team of 9 from Canada. We stayed at Case Verde for 12 nights. We felt very much at home. Rene was a gracious host. We were working on a construction project so came home each night needing a shower. For two days the water was turned off in this area of the city because of lack...

Ditto to all the other reviews! Great rooms, a pleasure to have a duvet after weeks of travelling in Bolivia and experiencing crushed toes from heavy blankets! Rene is a great host. Kind and helpful without being 'in your face'. Wonderful breakfast served in a relaxed communal dining room which gives you chance to meet other travellers. Lovely courtyard to...
