In the best posible location in viña del mar, couple blocks away from the bus terminal, couple blocks away the metro and in the main plaza de Viña del Mar. Really helpful and nice receptionist, clean bathrooms, with possibility to drink in one area but separated of the quiet side to rest and sleep. They have touristic info and all...

This is a hostel you will never forget! A place you always want to return to :-) Why?Columba Hostel is in the center of Viña del Mar nearby all the bars and nearby the beach. The hostel is clean, the wifi is very good and breakfast is included! But the main reason are the staff and the lovely new owner...

The rooms were actually quite good and there seemed to be a lot of security (cameras, a bracelet required to enter the hostel) All the same, we went out for lunch and someone broke into our locker in the meanwhile. They had taken it all: passports, cameras and iPhones. A total nightmare. Upon looking at the security footage we saw...

The bf and I stayed in the matrimonial ensuite. At first glance, we were a bit underwhelmed but it seemed okay. We quickly realized there was little privacy since the doors offer no sound insulation whatsoever. You can literally hear EVERYTHING. It doesn't have to be someone/thing loud. As such, our "relaxing" weekend was rather sleepless. We payed extra to...

It wasn't something extraordinary, but that is a hostel. The good points were that it was clean, staff speaks english, they have wifi in common areas. The minus is the only plug for the room and anyone can actually enter the hostel.

The hostel is well located. It`s a good place to meet and make friends. But the problem begins when you need help from the staff. They don't know the city, because most of them are foreigners, and when you need any assistance they are useless.

Did not even want to leave my soap on any surface in case it might get ruined. No warm water from showers, 1 out of the five showers actually work. Accommodates around 100 people, so the amount of showers do not accommodate anyone. Only one power outlet in a 10 person bedroom. Anyone can get in, even during night time...

Me and my wife spent only one night at Kalagen Hostel. The price was reasonable and accommodations were simple but fit exactly in our needs, a private room with two beds and shared bathroom. The service is fine, staff are very friendly and helpful, everything looked impressive cleaned, even the shared bathroom which is a huge problems in other Hostels....
