The hotel is in Bur Dubai and has budget stay options. However, the apartments are cramped up and the service is very slow. The response from reception is also pretty bad. However, the hotel has good cleanliness maintained.

Average hotel in all western standards. Good location next to dubai creek & close to metro station. Hotel is Indian owned and all staff (and most of guests) are Indian. Breakfast ok, good indian restaurant and very nice sports bar with good food and drinks. Rooms have seen their best days and there is quite loud music at night. Service...

An old buiding that hasn't get any rennovation since it was built. Small reception, awful decoration, really noisy elevator, ugly pool. We stayed at the suite, the best room of the hotel, at its highest floor (8th). It was really big, with a quite ugly entrance and a really old door from which you could clearly see the outside part...

Hotel is very specific and transfers you from the time of the present days to the past. Interior in the colonial style, very friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable rooms devised for smokers and non smokers. Situated not so far from the center of the tourist interests. One negative point-quite high prices for rooms...Otherwise-recommended..)))

The hotel is easily reachable from Dubai metro, Water transport and by bus. The place is neat, clean, reasonable and well maintained. The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is homely. Service of rooms, food and local and other tours is also very well arranged. The breakfast buffet is also good. Strong recommendation.

Basic rooms with basic furniture. Old bathrooms. Clean though. Small balcony but not a great view. Hotel is quite old. Needs renovation. B'fast is not something to die for but fills your stomach. Has a decent pub inside. Walking distance from Metro -3/4 minutes. Ok hotel for quick business in Bur Dubai. No safety deposit box in the room.

Staying in The Creek

Neighbourhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
