Stayed here for 6 days and let me add first list the positives. Property is good and restaurants are really good. Like the Chinese gypsy restaurant and buffet breakfast, aangan indian restaurant is also good enough. But hotel service is really bad and not worth even 3*. You call housekeeping/room dining and hours pass by and you realise they just...

Just a mediocre place to stay with nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about either. Old property, decent location and average service. Stayed 3 nights, having read how bad the food is opted out of breakfast. Tried the food(room service) once during the stay and didn't cut it. It was sort of value for money and met my...

It's easily one of the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. - the aircon is the room does not increase or decrease. - they don't clean the rooms on a daily basis - I had a suite, and in that large suite, there was just 1 dimly lit light. And a bedside lamp. Wasn't sufficient to even read a book...

I recently returned to this hotel on a short holiday stay with my wife. This hotel was the first hotel that we had stayed in Dubai back in 2007. Back then it was called the Dhow Palace Hotel. We had seen reviews and how many guests had noted the quality declining. Here are my two cents: The hotel is in...

Has five star looks, facilities ordinary, breakfast inclusive( pretty good), gym is very well equipped. Staff was friendly, location is quite close to the tube, Meena Bazaar etc. Overall gives you a five/four star experience at a lowly cost.

Grand Excelsior Hotel is a decent hotel. If you don't expect to find Burj Al Arab's luxury you'll enjoy your time here. You can see it's been reconditioned, but not in the last 10 years. :) The food is a little below par, the position is quite good because you have in a walking distance 2 train stations, the wi-fi...
