Wonderful place, stunning architecture. But some routines could improve. The will is there, but on this level one is expecting total flawlessness. Thank god for some really kind staff members that managed to fix the check-in and check-out hickups. Thank Your Mr Eldar and thank you Mr Ahmed.
My husband an I were planning to stay in February 2021 at Dar Al Masyaf. The property charged a 100% of the fee (almost 3.000 euro) which was paid in 2020. Due to Covid 19 we are not able to travel from the Netherlands to Dubai. The property has been very unhelpful and not responsive to our inquires. For the pas 5 weeks booking.com has been trying to contact the property to change our reservations to next year. After weeks of trying finally the property answered this was not possible. For the past 3 weeks I have been waiting for my refund: nothing! No communication, no answer. I have never experienced such bad customer service in Dubai. Avoid this resort: they have no sympathy for Covid 19 and will just take your money,
Pros: Rooms, abra ride and infinity pool, selection of restaurants, breakfast, butler service and happy hour drinks. Cons: Dinner at pier chic was awful they should never of changed the menu from seafood to Italian. One of my worst meals in Dubai in the last 5 years. Service by the pool was very slow we had to ask for our drinks three times for one order. Each order took 30 minutes minimum for a simple drinks order and they even forgot to bring the drinks all together for one of the orders. Upon check in the butler blocked 3500 off my UAE card. 10 days later the funds still haven’t returned. I paid for the hotel and meals etc upon check out so nearly 7k total has been taken so far and no response from the hotel when querying this for a second time. (Be aware of this when checking in) I’ve stayed at Jumeriah hotels many times but I would recommend Al Naseem over Dar Al Masyaf in terms of overall service. …
Stayed several times at Mandinat Jumeirah Resorts and for us simply the best place in UAR. Thanks to the whole staff, especially in this challenging Covid19 times even more appreciated. In addition we stayed several times at Shimmers Beach Bar and this place becomes better every time!
Dear ladies and gentlemen, we express our gratitude to all the hotel staff, who in such a difficult time gave me and my family the opportunity to have a great rest, forget all the problems for a while and at the same time be in complete safety. We would like to express our SPECIAL thanks to our butler from Villa 7 - SUDAT. It was he who made our vacation MAGIC and FABULOUS. Special thanks to the girls from the restaurant "Kaito" - Svetlana and the Parisian (unfortunately, I did not remember the name). Many thanks to Valles and all the guys who work there.
