This Sunday we spend a great time in Tortuga restaurant. The menu offers a wide selection of Mexican dishes. Nice place, brilliant servis during the dinner. Special thanks to Mr. Vinay. He does a great job. I can only recommemd.

We have recently returned from a 4-week stay at the Jumeira Mina A'Salam in Dubai (part of the Madinat Jumeira Hotel Group). A wonderful hotel group and we have previously enjoyed stays at Al Qasr and Dar Al Masyaf. On this occasion, we enjoyed a wide variety of evening dining which included Japanese, Thai and European cuisine, all at immaculate standard. The staff of the hotel catered for our every whim and made it feel like home. We would like to specifically thank Elena reception duty manager who efficiently managed our unplanned holiday extension in room 541. Thanks also go to the concierge team - Roseta, Rey, Muna who booked restaurants in and out of the resort. The massage therapist Nur was also very professional. The whole experience was excellent. As we reluctantly left for the airport in the Emirates taxi, twenty or more of the lobby staff formed a guard of honour to see us off. A gesture that encapsulated our whole experience. Thank you. One of the most memorable hotel experience I've had- the staff is wonderful and extremely helpful, the interior and exterior are beautiful and the amenities are top notch. Most of the guests staying here are dressed up throughout the hotel grounds but I had come from a year of backpacking and didn't have the nicest clothes but still felt well cared for and respected. The restaurants and bars on site are expensive but delicious. I would recommend making coffee in your room for free if you want to save some money- I ordered two americanos once from their lobby and cost me about $30. Take advantage of the boats and beach!

I am extremely disappointed to be having to write this rewiew. I have been left no option after contacting them over 5 times for a refund for 1 night. I have stayed at the Mina Salam for over 20 years. In the past two months alone I have stayed for over five weeks, over three different stays and so have my family and in-laws. I have been waiting on a refund for 1 night for over three weeks now although I was assured it would not take more than 14 days. We have paid alot of money to stay, for myself and my family in November, over the New Year and January. Yet I am still having to chase them for a refund for ONE night! Extremely disappointed that a loyal customer who brings their family and friends here gets such poor service.
