we enjoyed our stay very much. super friendly service everywhere , especially mr. lito from the breakfast room. always friendly and heartful, a reason more coming back! even during covid time, super safe feeling. event sun beds will be sanitized.
Last year the service was better . I hope that when the COVID-19 infection is gone the service will be better. The hotel it self is cinda good. Lets just hope for the best that could happen to this hotel
We purchased couples package to celebrate our anniversary but folks in the hotel had little knowledge about the package. The room arrangement surprise was not ready in time, SPA staff was struggling to understand that our treatment is included in the package, and there was a mistake about the charge at the end of our stay. If you book some special packages make sure you call them beforehand and check that everything is organized and ready. Poor experience overall, although manager Ahmed did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, one person doesn't make a hotel.
I was expecting a lot more for the money. Hotel is nice but rooms are dated. Our room had intermittent water issues including brown water coming from the sink. Decor is worn and dated. The service was so terrible the first night at the Lebanese restaurant we left and went to the Indian eatery next door and received nice service. I requested to speak to the food and beverage director and was told he would be follow up with me, but he never did. I usually don’t complain but when I say the service was lousy, it was lousy. Hotel management was nice and comped a meal after the water fiasco and the staff is generally pleasant. In all the people working there (waiters, attendants, reception, miscellaneous staff) were nice, it’s just that for the price of the hotel and the price of the on premise offerings including food and drink I expected more. Breakfast was a Russian zoo and it was nearly impossible to get service for anything. The women working at the spa front desk were rude and snippy which is odd. I wouldn’t want them representing such an important client-facing operation if I had money invested there. I was super polite and warm each time I spoke to them and they treated me like a hobo entering a Rodeo Drive boutique. Sava the gym manager is amazing however. Super cool dude! Two thumbs way up for him. Oh and the lady that runs the medical clinic there needs to be a bit more polite. She’s stiff as a board with a bleh personality. We arranged a Covid test there and I stopped by her office a couple of times. I felt like I was bothering her each time. I’d advise her to smile more. Over all I reckon there are other places in Dubai for the same price point that offer a more tailored experience. One more thing-they offer an electronic butler service via WhatsApp that is absolutely useless. They need to ditch it. We tried using them for a reservation and got a response in Thai (no idea why) telling us the restaurants we wanted were fully booked. A trip to the concierge downstairs proved that not to be the case... My recommendation is that they revisit staff and operations training.…
