Andaz Dubai The Palm stands out for its prime location on the Palm, with guests frequently lauding its easy access to beaches and attractions. The modern and clean rooms, alongside well-maintained amenities such as pools and dining options, consistently receive praise. While service is generally celebrated for its attentiveness, some guests have experienced inconsistencies.
Opinions on value are divided; travelers appreciate the reasonable prices but point out concerns with additional charges and the cost of drinks. Despite its overall cleanliness and comfort, the vibrancy of some areas and room sizes are occasionally criticized.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
The hotel itself and the location are amazing, but what blew my mind are the people. I have traveled to more than 50 countries and stayed in countless hotels, but l can say that the service is beyond what l expected. The hotel was almost full but l felt a highly personalized service, almost like l'm the only one staying. It all started with a perfect checkin with Mostafa, highly professional and approachable. Abhinash in room service deserves a promotion, I have ordered a total of 5 times from room service and all the orders were delivered in a super timely manner and never got any of the orders wrong! I was super impressed! Well food in both The Locale and especially La Coco is amazing! Coup de coeur were the cocktails served in a fresh pineapple and a fresh coconut , as well as the seafood ceviche. Couldn't be better. I can write pages on how my one night stay was PERFECT, so thanks to every single person working hard behind the shadows who have made my stay that much memorable. Can't wait to be back and I recommend Andaz with no hesitation whatsoever.

Myself and my wife stayed three nights at the Andaz the Palm as it was my wife’s birthday.
Check-in was OK apart from they didn’t tell us that they don’t provide daily room cleaning unless it’s requested, we didn’t find this out until the second day and had to ask for them to replenish toilet supplies / water etc.
We stayed on a half board basis were only one restaurant was available to use “The Locale” which had a nice atmosphere especially in the evening and the food for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Apart from the Japanese Hanami all other bars and restaurants (Knox / Andaz Lounge) were closed during our stay, as there was no additional discount give in Hanami we did try.
The main pool and beach are nice but not private and is shared with the apartment complex “Tiara Residence” you could get a drink around the main pool but no alcohol is allowed, there was building work around the pool ongoing through our stay. The other pool on the 14th Floor was again nice but when we visited the pool was not chilled and although they had a pool bar it wasn’t open not even for water or soft drinks.
There is also no Towel station, you are provided with two additional bath towels in your room and have to request fresh ones from reception..!
The bedroom was modern and nice.
Overall we had a nice stay although I wouldn’t put this down as a 5-Star Hotel more of a 4 & half Stars at best.

This Hotel is a really good example of how to self sustain and still be elegant. They have a good interior, although it's not that spacious, you still get everything that you need. The stained glass windows accentuate the beauty of the room. This hotel is also quite new and others should follow its example. I noticed that they use very few plastic materials. You can request shavers, toothbrush and it will be made of wood which is a very good idea.
The food is also very good. Their breakfast is included and instead of wasting so much food on buffets which is not recommended during pandemic, they opted to present ala carte menus which is actually better than buffets. Our food is always fresh, the orders are still fast and you can order as many times as you can handle. Fresh ideas like plant based menus are also available-scrambled tofu, with kale and spinach or an avocado with cottage cheese and vine tomatoes is nice. But I loved their Eggs Benedict and French Toast.
For the Dinner, they have the locale-which is basically mixed asian, indian, and western cuisine. They have really friendly staff like Radwan, Sue, Nicole, CJ, and one barista who's always smiling. It really sets a comfortable mood if the people are like this.
All in all it is a very pleasant stay for us, they are very accomodating, (front office is quick to answer-Helna is quite good)I know it's part of their job but it doesn't feel forced, I hope they can maintain their level of service and the diversity of the staff because it's good.

Bit of a mixed bag here. Great design, looks smart, but poorly ran and borderline dangerous.
The cabana pool is so pretty, adults only so nice and peaceful, but has no bar service so you need to take enough water to last the day or go back to your room. Confusing though as one guy took our drinks order but then never brought the drinks. The next day we were told no drinks are served there. So take enought water or you'll dehydrate in this heat.
After 1 guest leaves, the pool attendant collects their wet towels, but doesn't change the bed covering or wipe down the side tables. Not ideal in these covid times.
Rooms aren't cleaned, but they don't mention this at check in. So we left our towels at the pool, got back to the room hoping to shower but had to go to their super glam reception in our wet swimmies to ask for towels.
Service in the restaurant is super slow. Approx 20 mins just for drinks. At least you won't end up drunk here! But one lady, Kellis was very efficient so we tried to find her.
The good part, the hotel is great value, super cheap for a 5*. It is also beautifully designed, from their stunning receotion where they light candles every evening, to the view from the cabana rooftop pool. There's a cool Japanese theme going on in the rooms, i really loved our Japanese style bathroom. I like the fact they don't have individual toiletries, less plastic. The TV had plenty of channels and allowed us to connect our tablet so we can escape the heat for a couple of hours.
Also the Japanese restaurant on the 15th floor was amazing. Great views, food, cocktails and service.
I think this will be a great place once they iron out the kinks.

The hotel is well decorated and very modern. The rooms have all the usual amenities you would expect and more. I loved the fact the mini bar (excluding alcohol drinks) is totally free of charge and is regularly topped up. It makes a pleasant change from the usual water only that you get in other hotels. However they also make sure you have plenty of bottled water every day and should you run out of that you can always call housekeeping and they will promptly bring you some more. Unfortunately the fridge in the room could have been cooler, it wasn’t as cold as I would normally like it but I think that’s a hotel wide issue and not isolated to just our room.
The pool and beach were nice, but unfortunately lacked enough sun umbrellas. Most days we couldn’t get enough shade and the pool stuff were not helpful at all. A lot of the umbrellas were ripped and needed replacing. Oddly the beach had tones of unused umbrellas, however when we asked if some could be bought upto the pool the answer was a simple NO.
We were personally visited by the head of housekeeping for our floor (Muhammad Abbas) who ensured we had everything we needed and also asked us what time of day we would prefer to have our room cleaned each daily. Again something not usually offered in other hotels. We met him on a few occasions and he always asked if everything was to our satisfaction - which it was.
The food was nice but lacked variety, however I think that’s due to the size of the hotel. Usually we stay in bigger hotels and they tend to have a wider range of food available for the evening buffet. Again most likely due to having more guests. The lunch was amazing and so filling, they offer an A la carte menu with a wide choice and big portions. Definitely recommend this if you stay in this hotel.
I would have to call out (Su) - who was one of the waitresses we were lucky enough to meet every evening for dinner. She was absolutely amazing and so helpful. On the first night we arrived my little boy was sick due to the travel and having a bug, she helped us get him some food we could take away and have in the room. She always went above and beyond every evening making sure we had everything we needed. She would always bring a little treat for my boy and he grew very fond of her in such a short time.
Despite the umbrella issue it’s a great hotel and I would defiantly recommend it to couples and families.

My wife and I stayed for the first 6 days of our honeymoon here. The architecture and the interior design is just so well done. Large beautiful accent features across every ceiling, colorful mosaics on wall, tasteful artwork on every floor.
The lobby restaurant area is an amazing indoor outdoor space, the breakfast buffet had so many options and the locally inspired dishes rotated every day.
The 14th floor has the outdoor pool deck on the bridge between the two towers and the spa and fitness center are clean and very functional.
The service is top notch, Hashan who manages the pool cabana was very generous to us and the staff were very attentive as we sat by the pool, checking in with us just frequently enough for it to be convenient and not overbearing. Toli, who overseas the Ora spa was also extremely polite and very professional, and the spa treatment itself was also amazing.
The bar is still in the process of acquiring all the liquors it needs to be fully functional, it is a brand new hotel after all, but once they do, it’ll be an idyllic place to spend a few hours a day.

In Dubai terms a relatively small boutique hotel (circa 226 rooms) which we preferred for our 3 night stay…only 3 years old so everything is still fresh and new. We got upgraded to a suite by the immensely welcoming and enthusiastic Jinky (guest relations officer), which we appreciated greatly! This included a sep lounge area, 2 bathrooms and bedroom with balcony with ocean views from 3 different sides. All non alcoholic drinks are complimentary as are the snacks in the room (fresh fruit, nuts, chocolate). Nakeel Mall is right across from the hotel and includes a wealth of shops including a Waitrose which was handy. Taxis are reasonable to get around either through hotel or we also used uber a couple of times. There are a number of restaurants and bars next to the hotel and a beach about 100m away. The hotel has a beautiful adult only pool area on the top floor which has stunning views at night. Breakfast was good…lots of variety and tastes catered for and runs until 11am so plenty of time if you want to lie in. Overall would recommend Andaz if you’re looking for enthusiastic, good service and a more intimate luxury Dubai experience.

I regret to report that my stay was not what I was hoping or expecting at the Andaz Hotel.
From the outset of my stay , I experienced problem after problem, which were all resolved, eventually, I checked out early to continue my stay elsewhere to avoid any further issues or problems arising as they did on a daily basis.
To remind you some of the issues:-
1. Being ignored in the restaurant after being handed menus for dinner, eventually I left and this issue was recognized and rectified by serving me food in my room ( which was paid for by the hotel). I did not risk dining in the restaurant anymore after that ( apart from breakfast)
2. Air conditioning failed in my room, was informed that this would take 2-4 hours to rectify. No problem with that except I arrived back after 5 hours to find my room a complete mess, stinking of some kind of pungent smell ( paint possibly) and I could not even access to get my belongings ( some photo graphs attached – although they don’t highlight the obnoxious smell) . This Issue was rectified by changing my room – should have been recognized that this was a long term job and mitigations put in place before subjecting me to this upheaval . I had a planned meeting that I had to rearrange due to the fact I could not set up my online facilities due to the state of the room.
3. On two occasions after requesting a room service/clean, I arrived back several hours later and this had not been done, resulting in delays to shower as waiting on towels and room sanitization.
4. Laundry order was not ready as per usual timing I had to chase housekeeping to get it on time.
Like I mentioned, I checked out early, as I was tired of the constant chasing up of deficiencies and did not want to experience any more problems. This was the second time that I had stayed at the hotel, the first time being just after it opened, and I put the various deficiencies and poor quality down to “start up issues”. I cannot use the same excuse this time around as you have been open over a year now.
On a positive note, I cannot fault the breakfast chef who made my eggs and spinach each morning , they were excellent. In addition the hot drinks guy ( Marcos?) was first class, polite and very efficient and made our breakfast drinks and mid morning coffee just how I like it.

+1
We stayed in the Andaz for 10 nights in November. The hotel is about 25-30 minutes drive from the airport, the taxi cost around 110 AED. The location is really good at the bottom of the Palm so it's a quick ride to the JBR as well as other places on the Palm. The reception staff were really lovely and efficient and we got our room key quickly. The room was a Seaview one however I'd say it's a partial seaview only. The room was in perfect order, nice design and had everything you may need. It was super quiet, we only heard the neighbours once. We had a problem with the wardrobe doors but once flagged it was fixed quickly. The bed was big and comfy and there is a lot of storage space. We booked half board and were very pleased with our choice as the food was delicious both at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was so varied and it was impossible to get bored of it. In addition to hot items, cereals, chia puddings, fruit, bakery etc. You could also order eggs any way you liked plus coffee any type you like. My partner doesn't take lactose and there was plenty of alternative choice available like soya. The service was fantastic throughout the hotel. The dinner buffet was equally varied, always something Asian, European and Indian plus a cold buffet of salads and cheese and a whole dessert section with a choice of hot pudding plus cold options. We also got 2 free alcoholic drinks with each dinner which was a bonus. The major plus of the hotel is that it's got a beach and pool so no need to pay for any expensive beach clubs. The towels are provided in the room and changed every day. There pool and beach are shared with the two apartment blocks so it does get busier at the weekend but there was never a day where we couldn't find space. The sun goes about 4 pm as it's obscured by the tower blocks but we actually didn't mind this as it prompted us to go and do something before dinner. The sun sets at 5.30 pm at this time of year so you're not losing that much to be honest. There is a bar service at the beach from La Coco restaurant and while we didn't try the service we did go to the restaurant twice for drinks in the afternoon. Overall I would say the hotel was excellent value, had exceptional staff and was well located so I can't fault anything, perfect November getaway!

We stayed at the Andaz for our 10th Wedding Anniversary, where on arrival we were upgraded to a room with a better view.
We arrived from the airport with 20mins to go for dinner service so our bags were taken to our room so we could get dinner on our first night. The food was delicious and I had the Vegetable Thai Curry freshly cooked at the live station, which was delicious.
We enjoyed the buffet style breakfast and dinners and there was a lot of variety at both of these. One day we swapped the dinner for lunch where you order from a menu - this was exquisite, fresh, high quality food served to the table. The waiters do an amazing job and are always very attentive.
Our room was spacious and had a great city view which was great at night when the buildings were lit up. The water was stocked up every day and one day we arrived back to our room to a towel swan which was a lovely touch.
The cabana over 18’s pool was amazing, the sun beds were comfy and the life guard kept on top of giving towels out and collecting them once people had left. No matter what time of the day we went up there was always a sun bed available sometimes under the cabanas and sometimes in the direct sun (which in mid summer is very hot). The pool and cabana area was very clean and well looked after.
The Andaz is well situated opposite the Aura Skypool with 360 degree views of the Palm, Marina, and Dubai. It has the Nakheel Mall opposite and within a short walk of the hotel, which has lots of shops, restaurants for a quick snack and also the metro if you want to explore Dubai that way.
We used the hotel cars to get to the Dubai Aquarium at the Dubai Mall and to get to the Bulgari Restaurant both of which were a 20-25 min drive away in the main part of Dubai. These were reasonably priced and if you ask they will give you their number to pick you up as well so you don’t need to search for a taxi when you are out and about. The cars were luxurious and well maintained with nice drivers. If you need one ask the door men and they will find you a car for your journey.
All the staff were polite and couldn’t do enough for you. Welcoming you whenever you walked past and making sure you were ok. Nothing was too much for them.
Overall we had a lovely time at the Andaz Hotel and we would definitely return in the future.

I think there are lots of places to run. But I struggled to breath let alone run. It’s desert heat not fun to be outside in mid day.
A hairdryer was provided in our room.
