Absolutely loved this hotel and the amazing people who work there. Booked a two week stay here which quickly turned into a nightmare when just a day into our holiday, my Mum got Covid (just to be clear, this was NOT from the hotel). The ladies that work in guest relations were such a support and an absolute pleasure to converse with. The porters are so friendly (thank you Anderson), helping us with our luggage and the check in was smooth (thank you Mustafa). Jennifer showed us to our room and she was very professional with a lovely aura. The room was just as I expected having seen images and reviews prior to arriving. Nothing was broken and the neat little touches were impressive. The room was clean and cool. Just what we needed in the scorching July Dubai heat! We got a gorgeous fruit bowl the next day, a lovely surprise. Thank you Jennifer! Aylin and Shaiyra were my first contacts thereafter and what angels they are! 🥰 I later got to meet Anastasia too and every time we spoke, the ladies would all ask about my Mum who was sadly quarantined for a long time. However, the staff couldn’t do enough to help us and ensure we were comfortable, including offering to communicate with their health authority which can be daunting for a tourist. Given that my Mum's health was such a worry, I felt so alone at times but everyone was so approachable and never made me feel like I was a burden, no matter how busy they were. Anything we needed, they were only on the other end of the phone. That's what I call customer service with a personal touch. Thank you so much ladies. You’re a wonderful team.❤️ The pool, beach, gym, spa facilities and Godiva cafe are all very well presented, kept clean and have friendly staff. It was a lovely experience (when we finally got to enjoy the amenities). The staff in the Turquoise restaurant work so hard and they were so pleasant. Umer, Tejus, Chandan, Mohammed (manager), just to name a few! Alice is a diamond. Thank you so much for your kind service. The chefs are all amazing but the one chef who really aided my Mum's recovery and supported me with the in-room-dining service was Chef Don, thank you so much for caring about my Mother as if she were your own. Again, a totally unexpected but heartfelt service that you'd expect from a family member, not a Chef! 🙏🏽 Forever grateful. Thank you so much! I never got to meet Didi but Didi and Gloria are beautiful souls. Thank you for caring. I could always hear your smiles through the phone. Such a support. Even though Mum had covid, not once did we feel excluded or judged. I had to clean within the room (for obvious reasons) but the house keeping team made the extra responsibility that much easier - anything we needed was no trouble at all. Once the quarantine period was over and they could enter the room, I saw what a wonderful job they do, they're so attentive. Asif, Raju and Rakesh all assisted us and did a thorough job. Thank you team! When Mum finally recovered part way through week two and was given the all clear, the staff were elated and wanted to meet Mum to pass on their love and help us organise our last few days so we could enjoy our holiday, together (finally). Soufyan is a very knowledgeable person, thank you for your help with organising our excursions. Last but not least, I have to send an extra-special note of thanks to the night manager, Bibin Abraham. What an amazing person! Bibin couldn't do enough to help once he learnt of our situation. He gave us whatever time he could (he's always running around sorting things out for guests). He kept checking in with us and asking about my Mum's health and when she did recover, he wanted to meet her and make sure she was looked after. Any time he saw us he would stop for a chat, he introduced us to people that could help and anything we needed was no trouble at all. Given the sanitisation that had to occur in the room we were staying in, we were upgraded to a room with a better view which really pulled on my heart-strings. My appreciation will be forever more. Thank you Bibin. The location of this hotel is fantastic, the design and décor is amazing, the service is wonderful but what really made our stay extra special is the people. Without the magical team at Rixos, our holiday could have been disastrous. Instead, their empathy, time, care, communication and kindness made our holiday unforgettable for all the right reasons. The hotel is just perfect. The rooms are incredible, the view is amazing and the overall comfort as well. It’s ideally located and it was perfect for my family.
