This is a old style colonial villa and as such has a portion of charm. The location is good and the staff is helpful.Brekfast in the "garden" is not very rich but was ok. If you are a fan of " Jim Thompson style " ( a Bankok museum ) you will like it. Bear in mind that the rooms are...

The stay was memorable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and always ready with a warm smile. If we wanted anything then it was provided. Nice clean comfortable rooms with nice courtyard. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend it.

We stayed 3 nights in the Lotus Villa--great central location and being just off the central road made it even better. Richard is deeply involved in the community trying to make a difference. This gave us a more intimate and real experience --their recommendations of where to go and what to see were consistently spot on. The inn is homey...

The rooms in this hotel are simple, with dark wood shutters and white walls. They look out into a lovely garden courtyard. The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel manager was especially helpful in assisting us to choose good ways to spend our time in the area. She was able to direct us to tour providers who are working with locals...

The room, with the shower almost in the bedroom, was a momentary startle but we had a wonderful time here and took advantage of some advice from the owner on nearby sights that gave us a little different look at the surrounding area, as well as doing the regular touristy things. Brilliantly located with friendly and engaging hosts, a good...

We visited with my 3 yr old and loved this hotel! They took care of us so well- picking us up, providing a preloaded SIM card, introduction of the town, helping us participate in alms giving, recommendations, playing with my son, and even getting Nima cake for his birthday! The breakfast was fabulous (tamarind coconut jam!), there were free drinks...

Though it may seem a bit expensive, this boutique hotel is well worth it. Very conveniently located to access the rivers on either side and a short walk away from the Palace and night market. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I stayed with my parents in one of the suites in a separate building. It was spacious and,...

Cosy hotel in a very quiet area. The basic room is perfectly fine. Recommended for those who want to partake in the procession of the monks and donation of alms early in the morning as they proceed right outside the hotel. Staff and the manager were very helpful and took great personal care of me as I fell sick from...

Spouse, kid and I stayed at Lotus Villa for several days this summer. We loved the serene courtyard where delectable breakfasts were served, the wonderful and helpful staff, and the procession of monks in the morning. Lovely room (oddly, with bath tub in it) and great location for exploring the Old City.

We only stayed one night and I must say I regretted it. The place is simply perfect: it's not over crowded (only 15 rooms), it's quiet, set within a splendid little garden, the breakfast is hearty (and includes a proper fresh fruit juice which strangely enough is rarely served in hotels when you naively take it for granted), the room...
