We arrived very late about 9pm but the restaurant stayed open to provide us with a reasonable meal. We were in Rm 102 which was ground floor first block. The room was very nice and spacious with a private terrace. Mosquito nets in room - mainly for effect I think. Very few sockets available and nowhere near the kettle. No...

Fantastic setting for this hotel and a really enjoyable walk around the grounds. The rooms are good with a comfortable bed. Enjoyed swimming in the refreshing pool after a long day in extreme heat. Thoroughly recommended.

Had a lovely few days stay, really good room with lovely balcony, had lunch at resort restaurant, which was very good, lovely cocktails in the evening, and beautiful pool, I wish it had been closer to the town but the shuttle bus was free and ran often although sometimes was very crowded but a tuk tuk from the town was...

This hotel is about 15 min outside of the main area of Luang Prabang. The buildings are set amid gardens and water features making it just lovely. The hotel runs a free shuttle (at set times) to its sister hotel in town which provides access to shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious with a balcony but seemed in need...

We stayed three nights at the Santi Resort which is outside of the town in a beautiful village area. During the dry season, the center of Luang Prabang is noisy and dusty. This hotel avoided bothThe rooms were spacious and very nice with an old Indochina touch, beds had mosquito nets, even if I did not see any in the...

Lots of cash has been spent on making this hotel a pleasant and relaxing place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful and the grounds are stunning. It is a significant hike from the town so a shuttle bus is provided. Good free wifi in all areas. However don't expect 4 star quality. The rooms are not soundproof and thus...

The hotel is very "colonial". It's like stepping back in time. The rooms are very large and spotlessly clean. The staff are all very pleasant, but not corporate trained. Expect someone to wear a red duffle coat, or a football shirt over your uniform. I love this as the staff still have lots of character. It was much colder than...

The location of this resort is magnificent with mountains around you and lovely gardens, walking paths and nice clean pool. The staff very pleasant. The room on the other hand was subpar for the price of the room. My husband and I expected a king bed or at least a queen, we were given a room that had two full...

Stayed here in December as part of a tour. First impressions were delightful, real character, but if the management or owners just tried that little bit extra. The location is superb, the grounds wonderful, the swimming pool looks idyllic and it is peaceful. The rooms are spacious and some have balconies overlooking the gardens. Where the hotel lets itself down...

We stayed three nights in a beautifully appointed upper room overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. Slept very well. OK, the hotel is 15 minutes by shuttle bus from Luang Prabang but the tranquillity of the gardens, the pool and surrounding area more than make up for it. The morning walk to breakfast was so beautiful and peaceful. We ate...
