Very nice welcome with daily refrefreshing drinks ! And very friendly and helpful staff ! Breakfast is on the terrace over looking the river. The manager helps us to choose some excellent excursions for reasonable prices. The guesthouse is within easy walking distance of the national museum, night market, mount Phousi, all the main attractions. We will happily return here.

Nice touch with a drink on arrival. They also give you a map and tell you what to see and do in Luang Prabang. Had room next to front door with veranda on to road giving onto the mekong river. Wasn't too bad during the night, but noisy at other times. The linen was dirty, stains on the pillow cases....

The good: Aircon, hot water, nice staff, good wifi, clean rooms, small fridge, and looks of the guesthouse (NOT hotel). Proximity to the Mekong River(though it doesn't really matter besides during breakfast, which indeed had a nice view. The bad: - TINY rooms and unsuitable for a couple with small child. - No proper ventilation. Because there is no mosquito...

The hotel is very well located, facing the Mekong River and close to the shops. The facilities are very simple. The breakfast is good, but not great. Unfortunately I stayed in a room in which the bathroom sink emitted a horrible smell of sewage. We asked to change rooms, however we were told that the property was full.

Recently spent nine nights at this lovely hotel. It is directly across the road from the Mekong and we had a front room which gave us a great view. The rooms are small but we were only in them to sleep so it was not a problem. They were lovely and clean and the breakfast, which is served across the...

Great views to be had if your room is overlooking the river but "view" rooms are smaller. Mine was at back so ZERO view but large and very comfortable. Staff at front desk (Than) and assistant very good. 5 pieces of laundry: $1,00 USD. I booked the room 8 months before and was told one week before that I would...

I stayed at another Luang Prabang hotel which was slightly less expensive, but I thought the small difference in price was worth staying at Lan Kham. My room had a balcony overlooking the Mekong which is great. It is only about 5 minutes to Mount Phousi, the Royal Palace, all the tour offices, and the night market so the location is excellent....

On afternoons guest are served fruity refreshing drinks. Coffee and tea are available all day long. Simply breakfast is served at the garden across the street at the place overlooking the Mekong river. Due to...

Had booked a river view room but ended up at the back of the hotel with no view. We were given a refund and our washing free. We were also moved to the front of the hotel on the first floor after a couple of nights, with a river view. The staff were really helpful at all times and were...
