I had been cycling from Northern Thailand to Luang Prabang for over a week. I knew before leaving Australia that the options in the countryside are quite limited often only for truck drivers passing through. With that in mind I booked myself a place with a pool and a bit of luxury for when I finally made it to Luang...

We enjoyed our stay here very much and would strongly recommend this boutique hotel. 1) Service We were given a very warm welcome with great smiles when we deposited our luggages there in the morning on our way to the waterfall. When we returned in the afternoon, we were given a welcome drink and then a staff brought us to...

I came to Luang Prabang with my 19 year old daughter and my travel agent booked Maison Dalabua because I wanted somewhere with a good location and a pool, I had a look online and it looked fine.....well, it was far better than just fine. Maison Dalabua is a gorgeous boutique hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast...

This was our favourite hotel on our trip to South East Asia. Our rooms were set over a lotus pond , the hotel was small but delightful. The staff were so friendly that we immediately felt relaxed and in holiday mode. The breakfasts were delicious and we were within easy walking distance of the centre of the town. If you...

I've loved my trip to Laos and Luang Praban is all you can read online and more but I did not enjoyed this hotel. For starters the location is not nice considering a short stay of 2 or 3 night I'd rather stay in a place that really capture the essence of this place. I mean near the center between...

Excellent boutique hotel in a quiet part of Luang Prabang but still close enough to walk to the sights (royal palace museum 15 mins approx, wat xieng thong 25 mins). What for me made the hotel so lovely was the pleasant decor (vintage with old gramophones, beautiful Laotian wall coverings, large four-poster bed) - as well as the beautiful lily...

Lovely hotel. Highlight being the lily pond. Simply stunning. Staff very helpful and polite. Rooms a good size and clean. Pool smallish, but offers a pleasant respite from the afternoon heat. Close to night market and not far from river. Bikes available for free so usually biked along riverside. Would definitely stay there again.

For our first 2 night I would have to give this a "terrible", as it was impossible to sleep after 1,30am. The cockerels next door started crowing then, which set off the dog. Unfortunately we were in a bungalow very close. Then the owner/manager offered us a different room for the last night - heaven! If we had been in...

Though only had two days here it felt like longer because of there being so much to see. Being able to relax in this beautiful hotel was the perfect way to cap action filled days. The food (tho pricey for Laos) was really delicious and the setting next to the Water Lilly filled lake was ultra relaxing.
