I loved staying at Maison Dalauba for eleven days and in fact I could've easily just moved there and lived permanently. The rooms and surroundings are very aesthetically pleasing, it's a very still and quiet place except for the mesmerizing sounds of nature all around it. The hotel is built into and around the UNESCO listed lily ponds and tropical...

We stayed 4 nights at Maison Dalabua, a gorgeous retreat very near the center of town, after living out of a suitcase for 10 days. We picked the perfect place to unpack. and settle in. Our room was spacious, quiet, and with Lao-style decor. Our balcony overlooked the lotus ponds, a UNESCO heritage site in itself. These ponds make the...

Hotel & Location: "Khop-jai! We will come back!!!", that's exactly what we said to the staffs before we left to airport. We had 5 wonderful nights here, very quiet & romantic settings, perfect for couple like us. Good option if you are looking for 5-stars treatment, & wanted to be a bit away from the town center. Fast and good...

We stayed here for 2 nights then a further 4 nights and it was wonderful. Initially we had a room in the older section - the bathroom was a little tired but I still loved our room - we had a little balcony that was internal (see picture to explain) and I loved the weaving theme. the pool was lovely...

Nestled among three pretty lotus ponds, this boutique hotel provides a wonderful respite from the heat and strenuous activity of sight-seeing. It looks as good as the pictures. What we really enjoyed was the hospitable staff who helped us with planning and logistics, free (sturdy) bicycles to get into and around town, the refreshing swimming pool, and the comfortable rooms....

We only had two nights at this wonderful hotel - how we wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were wonderful. The photos don't do justice to how beautiful the location is. We stayed in one of the lake side cottage; it was wonderful with a very comfy bed. We only had one breakfast at the hotel, it had...

I was incredibly charmed and pleased by my stay at Maison Dalubua. The grounds are exactly as they appear in the pictures, with an amazing restaurant next to lily ponds with carp and lotus flowers in full bloom. Breakfast was outstanding and dinner at Manda de Laos was the best I had in Laos -- deserving of its recognition as...

We stayed for 3 nights. Strongly recommend the hotel. The highlight of the hotel is the beautiful garden with lotus ponds. Having breakfast beside the ponds was a highlight of our trip. Dinner at the adjacent restaurant by candlelight listening to the bullfrogs was wonderful. The food was very good also! There are several types of rooms, some better than...

We chose to stay at this place for the great pool which we used lots (we had earlier stayed in the old town). It was a really good choice. This place is great value for money. Our room was quite new and even though I don't normally like brushed concrete floors it really suited this room. The decor was simple...

Do not be scared to see the hotel entrance. They have not been deceived by internet photos. What you will see inside far exceeds expectations. While the construction is simple the surroundings in which the hotel are are impressive. Ponds with lotus are worthy of a painting by Claude Monet. The attention at the front desk is excellent. We also...
