During a trip to southeast Asia we ran into this beautiful place in a beautiful city. We were welcomed by a more than helpful and friendly staff, the rooms were squeaky clean, and the location couldn't be better. Would absolutely return to this place and recommend to all!

First of all the location was perfect. Not on the crowded main street, but literally three minutes from it. The room was normal - not the biggest but clean. The wi-fi was working and the staff was friendly. So for this price a really good choice, I would say :)

Nicely located at Nam Khan Riverside, rooms recently renovated and fine staff without frills or thrills. No food served, but around the corner just a few steps away lots of options for drinking and dining.

Stayed here for a couple of nights a week or two back. The location is perfect, on the river at the start of the peninsula, not too far down - so close to night market, shops and restaurants. The rooms are basic, the mattresses and pillows typically hard. The showers are in the wall onto the toilet area, bad wifi,...

Stayed for a total of 3 nights, it's location is good with a nice coffee shop 2 doors along and is minutes away from the main strip. Rooms are basic but clean and can't complain for the price but beds were a little firm.

Location The guesthouse is located in the historic area of the town and in close walking distance to eateries and the main tourist attractions. The building is close to the road and I thought it might be noisy but it wasn't. We had a window with shutters, which made is quieter and darker for sleeping. Room The room had a...

For how much we paid we have a GREAT time here. The building is a nice old colonial style building overlooking the Nam Kahn River with great sunrise views. Short walking distance to the main road, right next to some great restaurants and a ex-pat bar. Wi-Fi needs to be strengthened and sped up for sure.

Nice location overlooking the Khan River and close to the main street. We had one of the two upstairs rooms with a nice balcony. The room was spacious with thatched walls and ceiling and wood floors. There's a nice sized bathroom, although the toilet leaked. The mini fridge and the electric kettle were appreciated. It was fairly quiet with some...

The four of us stayed there for 4 nights in the beginning of February. We had the two very spacious, clean and well-appointed rooms upstairs and a private balcony. Through the trees we could see the Nam Khan River. The Sopha House is a friendly guesthouse close to the center. Luang Prabang is a town where we could have lingered...

Not bad overall, right on the river and just around the corner from the main street. Price was fair and the wifi worked well. Manager emailed personally to see if I wanted airport pickup, no other hotel on my trip did this. Drawbacks were that it was cash only and the room had ants all over the wall of the...
