Near to everything you need for Luang Prabang visit, night market, places to eat, temples, museum and 20min from airport. The room was ok but the bathroom was smelly from toilet in which they could not resolved the problem till we left. High strength free wifi at the lobby. Overall Reasonable price for high season right in the middle of...

I arrived in Luang Prabang, Laos, PDR from Veng Viang in the evening and it was getting dark and raining. The taxi driver told me I could get cheap accommodation in this area. As I walked to survey the hotels in the area along the same row, a man with an umbrella chased me and asking me to stay in...

The mini-van from Vang Vieng alighted us at the North Bus Station and we took a tuk tuk at 15,000 kips to the town center. I told the driver `Xayana' and he alighted me on the main road and I just took a 2 min walk down a lane to the guesthouse. It is stated on the signboard outside the...

I stayed at Xayana for a couple of days. Although recommended by Lonely Planet I can't see why they would endorse it. I bet that better options must be available. Shower was leaking so always wet. Through the ventilation unwanted guests come in and the wifi needs be yaken from the other side of the street. In the 5 days...

Just another example of a guesthouse that stops trying after they're mentioned in the lonely planet. Ceilings covered in mould, smelly bathrooms, tables in front of the hostel are sticky. The beds were comfy enough, though, and every bed bas two power sockets. Location is a plus too.

I was for more than one week because the prices are very good comparing with every other place around. It is an amazing place to make new friends and share a bit of time with them. The WiFi only it works close to the router never in the dorm room.

I arrived after a 2 day boat ride absolutely exhausted and starving. The staff couldn't find my reservation. I asked to use their computer, they refused me and told me to find an internet cafe. I printed out my reservation and the staff then demanded all 3 nights in advance. I tried to explain that I was exhausted and I...

I stayed in the x3 capsule dorm area of the guesthouse. The price is good for the money conscious backpacker, as long as you don't mind 1 toilet and 1 very small waste basket for 8 people. The shower areas didn't have a hook for the hose, so the nozzle head just lays on the floor. Also, the staff aren't...

From the first moment I loved this guesthouse. The street looks very nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the dorms are very good and cozy. Beds are pretty big, airco + 3 fans on the room. Good place to meet people.

I stay in the Xayana guesthouses (both X3 and the Xayana) everytime I'm based in Luang Prabang, and it's always a good experience. The beds are clean and comfortable. Outside each of the guesthouses, there's enough space to hangout and meet the other guests. Good value for money, and great place to meet people from around the world. The staff...
