The location of this villa is excellent. The room, however, was not great. It was very basic and dated. The bed was very hard.. not uncommon in Asia, but still uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke some English so we were able to communicate. The breakfast is very basic but fresh and tasty. I think there are...

For the price paid, this place was just fine! It was small, basic, clean and in a great location. I don't think I got the best room in the place (I tried to move, but it was fully booked), but I got used staying here and quite enjoyed its simplicity! I was on the ground floor in a twin room...

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a couple of days (more than planned actually!). We arrived in Luang Prabang around 7pm, so it was a bit of struggle to find the hotel in the dark, but when we first arrived the receptionist (young boy) greeted us warmly and checked us in without any problems. The room (#6) was small, but...

We have got a room on the upper floor with clean room nice to look out at the Museum, which is just infront of our room. The room is small, it is very suitable for young people and the people...

So we knew we weren't staying at a 5 star hotel but we didn't expect what happened. The staff asked us to put our shoes on the shoe rack when we entered, so we of course obliged. The next morning we went to take a shower and the hot water wasn't working so we switched rooms. Then ask we went...

Rooms are clean and hot water pressure is decent. Walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbors, smell their cigarette smoke (non-smoking means nothing to locals) and sometimes light from adjoining room can be seen from the corner joints. Breakfast is standard but decent. Front desk not too helpful with tours (or they don't promote them) but it's worth...

I was late in choosing a hotel so the selection was limited. Despite some misgivings about the price, I booked because of the very good rating and the photo of the lovely verandah. The verandah was lovely, the location was good and the place was clean. The room was tiny. There was about 1 foot of space between the twin...
