We stayed here in July and to be honest it wasnt great, the rooms are clean and it is affordable, the bikes are good quality but unfortunately the service wasnt very good during our stay. A couple of staff members being the manager and another young man at servie desk were friendly but overall service was poor. They are building...

I'm talking about small things, like the choice at breakfast, the quality of bakery, the maintenance in the rooms, the buildings and... - ...at the end we simple have to accept that the new owner follows also a new concept. Actual it looks like they don't care...

definitely stay here! its affordable luxury and the staff are incredible. The manager bent over backwards to help us, even sending things back home for us because I left them behind accidentally. we loved it here and if we go back to luang prabang, which we would because we loved it, we would stay here again

In my opinion, Le Bel Air is the best choice in Luang Prabang. Unlike most of the hotels there, Le Bel Air has a nice green territory and offers wonderful views of the Nam Khan river, which is especially pleasant during breakfast. The restaurant and the gym are on the terraces so that one can ejoy the fresh air and...

We were a large party of 13 and they looked after us very well and were not overwhelmed looking after us as one group. 8 of us also needed an early (6.00AM) breakfast as we were setting out on a road bike ride at sunrise and they had no issue accommodating us. I think people make places and these people...

I was very impressed by the room we had, just gorgeous! Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Be aware of the cocks (I don't know if you can hear them from every room but we certainly could): around 5am it's the first chorus and after a while- only to start again like half an hour later....

On the other side of the river from town. You can walk to town either on a very scary rickety bridge or an a bamboo bridge you pay a small amount for. There are also free shuttle rides into town but these go a long way round. The restaurant isn't much to write home about and is deserted in the...

We stayed here for two nights and were really happy with the quality of the rooms. The beds were amazing, I slept for ten hours on the first night I never get past 7 hours normally. The only draw back is it is just outside of the main tourist area but they do provide free bikes which was great. The...

We stayed in Bel Air for four nights, in our first visit to Laos. The contrasts with Thailand, where we came from, are very striking - and benefiting Laos. Luang Prabang is very nice, with impressive cultural heritage monuments and sights. The hotel - in fact a small resort, with a beautiful garden - is nicely located by the river,...
