Modern well maintained hotel with rooms being "Bali" simple - i.e nice and minimalist Asian style but works well. Rooms slightly small but here to be out side. Though not in centre it is only a bike ride away and the advantage that rooms face the very large garden and river with a beautiful sunrise and it is very quiet....

The resort itself is very nice, slightly out of town location with lots of space and a restaurant overlooking the river. We stayed in a bungalow which was lovely, lots of space and decent bathroom. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre, across a cool old bridge. I usually don't mind being a little bit out but...

I quite liked having a personal bungalow for four nights rather than just a standard room, as I had been traveling a lot through SE Asia. I found the personnel very friendly and helpful. Wonderful views from the outdoor restaurant. The room is nice size and the wood floors and furniture are great. I did speak to the manager, and...

The bungalows are cute and clean, but the resort has no real atmosphere. The staff is friendly fly though and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was average. Opposite is a night club that plays loud music until mid night (Utopia). Not ideal to have an early sleep.

This is nice enough, but is a bit far from town. If you want something a bit removed and with lovely gardens, then it is a good choice. If you want more of the atmosphere of town, go somewhere else. It is across the other side of the Old Bridge (scooters, bikes and pedestrians only) and about a 15 min...

A lovely setting, beautiful wood featured bungalow with balcony, use of their bikes to ride around exploring, friendly and helpful staff, shuttle bus to/from the town centre, or a walk across the old bridge. A pity the pool was not finished as we had hoped, but the workers were as quiet as they could possibly be, and we did not...

Hotel was booked through our travel agent, and arriving after dark all the staff were welcoming and restaurant was still opened. Room was comfortable and large, enough room to spread out for 4 days. A little out of the main town, the hotel did offer a shuttle bus. Location really wasn't an issue as one can walk over the old...

We agree with Alvaro O's assessment. This is an attractive hotel across the river from the heritage centre of Luang Praband with very poor management. Five days before our stay we noticed the small print on our booking form indicting that 'various parts of the hotel will be undergoing renovation' with 'some areas affected'. As directed we contacted the hotel...

We enjoyed 3 days at Le Bel Air and would go again...our room was comfortable and no noise - we didn't think on the otherside of the river to main Luang Prabang as issue. We walked it, over the iron bridge - and then tuk tuk. The menu was excellent, and we tried the local cuisine. The staff were all...

I am a meeting planner and graduated in Hotel Management having worked for over 10 years in The Ritz Carlton Hotels. I was expecting a local hotel with genuine service of course not a 5star hotel. But not at all what we got. Arrived at the airport and no pickup was available as promised on reservation. Details were provided to...
