Although the rooms are small and basic, the place is centrally located to many wats (temples), the morning alms ceremony, the Mekong river and the night market. There is a nice restaurant that belongs to the hotel right in front, overlooking the river. The staff is extremely competent and courteous and they offer laundry service, free wifi in the room...

We found a bargain and it was worth every cent! Small but cosy and clean rooms. I would suggest trying for a higher floor as we were on the first floor and the restaurant next door made it impossible to sleep as their kitchen was right next to our window! Eric makes this place! So welcoming, funny, nice and charming....

Guesthouse was cute, good value and clean. They have refillable water which was useful. It is really close to night market and everything else. Has a helpful owner, suggested places to go etc. Would recommend.

Loved this spot on the river. Our room was the Superior Double Room - it was quaint with a nice bed, TV, AC and private bath. We had a nice deck looking over the river. Very clean. The restaurant was great - many, many choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate there everyday of our trip. Eric, the host,...

This guesthouse has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Luang Prabang; it offers affordable rooms and great service. The rooms are clean, the food in the adjoining restaurant tastes good and Eric, the owner, is a very friendly guy. He arranged a trip to the Kuang Si waterfalls for us and helped celebrate my 30th birthday in style....

We stayed for two nights in this guesthouse and it was very good. The owner Eric is very hospitable and helpful. The room was clean and the sheets smelled freshly washed. The location is both beautiful, with a Mekong view, and practical. It's a 2 minute walk to the night market. Would absolutely recommend this guesthouse if you stay in...

View Khemkhong is strategically located - it faces the river (which makes it easier to book the river cruise to Pak Ou cave or grab a boat across the river), within walking distance to temples (National Museum, Mount Phousi), night markets, or the morning alm-giving ceremony. The food is good too, and with seats along the river, it makes makes...

If, like us, this is your first time to Luang Prabang or Laos and the prospect of not speaking any of the language in a new country and culture feels quite daunting then I can heartily recommend you stay here. It is a modest guest house very well run by the owner Eric ably assisted by his very helpful staff....

Good price and it's located nicely along the river, near other accommodation, restaurants, massages etc. Close walking distance to everything that you need. Staffs are really friendly, helpful and polite. The first room we got was brighter and a but more spacious than the second room but overall it's pretty clean. WiFi was a bit slow. There was no breakfast...
