Not Posh...not fancy, but a good honest budget priced guesthouse in a great location. On one corner is Ammata 1 guest house. A little more basic and cheaper. Diagonally opposite is Ammata 2. It has a foyer with tea & coffee making facilities. That's where the posh bit ends! The young night manager, Mr Tik is so helpful and will...

This is family-friendly and affordable guest house at a central but quiet location. The atmosphere at the street corner between guesthouse 1 and 2 is exceptionally relaxed, even for Luang Prabang standards. The hotel infrastructure is pretty basic, the rooms are cosy and clean. However, they are not very sound-proof. Internet connection is slow (as in most places in Laos)....

Saw our pre-booked guest house and told taxi to drive past. Found Ammata by recommendation by posh hotel nearby. Nice big, clean room with aircon. Not especially cheap, but nothing decent is in the middle of LP. Fine for overnight and easy walk to river, restaurants and market.

Perfect location near the main street, close to a nice temple. Rooms are clean, nice, big and confortable bed (in Laos, this is quite a challenge), and very hot water with pressure (in Laos, this is an even bigger challenge). I stayed in a more expensive hotel along the river before Ammata and I really regret it, I should have...

Stayed there with family a friends and the family who run the place were the nicest and most friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble. I had to change my booking at the last minute and they were completely fine with it. Didn't have to go through Agoda ! The rooms are a bit on the small size but I...

Good basic guest house, clean rooms. Nothing fancy, no frills. but no complaints. The staff is friendly and helpful. The best thing going is the location. There are many guest houses to choose from in LP - I would put this one in the middle range

We found everything we needed here and at a good price. Kudos to the owner for going the extra mile for her customers. Our kid would have loved to stay longer :) I loved the location too, quiet but not far away.

We stayed 5 nights, had one room in Building 1 and one in Building 2. Both rooms were great, spacious and very clean, loved all the timber detail (esp the ceiling) in the Building 2 room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast not included but so many cafes nearby this is not an issue. Location is perfect, loved being so...
