We stayed here for four nights during our two week trip to Myanmar. Easily a four star hotel at a budget price. Very friendly staff both the reception staff and the door staff who meet, greet and help you with your bags. The staff organised bicycles with a suggested day itinerary, also a private taxi to U bein bridge for sunset and our VIP bus to Bagan all at reasonable prices. We ate at their suggested local restaurant around the corner which they happily showed us. The best part of this very clean and new hotel was the rooftop breakfast buffet with a mix of asian food, eggs, fruit and hot drinks. Will definitely return to this hotel when I am next in Mandalay.

We travelled as a couple touring Myanmar, and booked this hotel because of the close proximity to the Mandalay docks from where we would continue towards the city of Bagan. The hotel facilities are modest and equipped with simple furniture. The reception was manned and ready when we arrived. At first we were given a smaller room than that we had ordered and paid for, but the hotel staff were quick to respond to our request to change room. Both rooms we saw were clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated in the cheaper quarters of Mandalay, which primarily means that there is a constant hymm from the streets and less street lighting. We did not eat at the hotel. It seemed that there was no restaurant at the hotel so you will probably have to eat food from the local venders – which is no problem. We left before the morning breakfast serving, so no points on this. The hotel have a nice rooftop terrace, from where you can relax during the evening hours, eat your own brought food and have a good view over most of the city. The prize of the hotel correspond to the location, service level and general facilities. You get what you pay for. Overall a good experience. We could stay there again.
