The rooms were as expected for Myanmar Hotel quality which has mostly been stuck in time for about 20 to 30 years. The towels were worn thread bear. During my stay I noted some miserable and unhelpful desk staff. Had to return down to the desk each time to get then to turn the power on each time. Plus don't...

$50 a night for a box like room with no view. But it had a bath tub,air con, and hot water. And as it was quiet, having spent the previous night at a noisy place, we were glad to get it. It's difficult to find a hotel in Mandalay that is not over-priced -they seemed to be all "cashing in".... On...

This hotel is well positioned but expensive and the standard of housekeeping is very poor. It is not so much the staff but they seem to be young and poorly managed The linen and rooms were dirty, hot water delivered Luke warm and definitely a poor value experience. The staff were lovely and obliging but had poor English. Someone is...

Looks good from the outside... But we paid 65 dollar for a basic triple room, which is much overrated in a country with already too expensive accomodation! Breakfast was not fresh and not tasty. Free Wifi available in lounge. There must be better options!

stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. it is very difficult to find anything reasonably prized in Burma. so I payed something like 65$ a night for 1 person for a room on the top floor with a view on the laundry that was hanging there to dry. very grayish towels. they must have been white a life time ago....

Everything is over expessive especially hotels here. Mandalay is dusty and most of the place filty.we stay at this hotel after searching and visiting other one.this is charmless but the girls at the reception are kind and try to help with their level of English.WiFi only at lobby with a terrible slow speed, they could provide something better for the...

I preface all hotels in Burma by saying they are dreadful value when compared to the countries around them. The owners I was told are in a cosy arrangement to charge what they like and give little if any service. This hotel is really bad value for money. They just seem to think of a figure and charge it. Why?...

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour so don't know how much we paid. Location fine for getting to some nearby places to eat/drink and not far from the market (also near the night market but don't get your hopes up that is a bit of a non-market) . Tiny room with too much furniture to trip...

This place is very centrally located, and has nice and friendly staff. Some people complain about the wifi in the hotel. This is in my opinion nothing to complain about, and show a lack of how the social and political situation has been in Burma for decades. This is not the country you visit if you would like to post on...

We had a decent stay here, although for what you get it's pricey, even by Burmese standards. The rooms are clean and relatively comfortable.  The wifi is horribly slow, so bad you wish they just didn't have it, and it only works in the lobby. It has a good location close to the market and some good beer stations down the...
