We didnt have a nice time with the rooms and cleaness... though the staff was very kind, the smell of the rooms was horrible. I would rather stay at downtown hotels, we switched to another hotel the second night at mandalay.

Nice staff, very efficient even if everyone doesn't speak english. Room large enough with big windows and almost no noise. Situation good enough to visit the city, with a very nice market right next to the hotel. We don't give the perfect rate, because of small things that could be avoided easily like cobwebs or broken toilets. No hot water.

I'm Backpacking alone and I find that the lonely room it's too expensive for 15$ maybe it's okay the double rooms that costs 20$. The place it's good and centric it's very close to the daily market and to the ferry's to mingun

This was recommended in my Lonely Planet guide, and not too far from where I'd disembarked from the ferry from Bagan. Welcome was ok, but not as friendly as other places I'd stayed at in Myanmar - no mention or sign of breakfast, but in fairness I didn't look for it or enquire. Quite a few power cuts, but guess...

Goodness knows how this place got a star from Lonely Planet because it's a hole, and the main reason why I didn't spend a second night in dusty, dirty Mandalay. My room was a hovel and located up several flights of stairs. Still, you'll meet a bunch of other backpackers here.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They rent out bicycles and arrange bus tickets. The location of the hotel is near a nice market. A fellow working at the hotel took us to a festival at the temple nearby, which was really nice!

I've heard the other rooms are nice but we ended up at the very top of the building (4 flights of stairs) in a dingy back room. The room was full of mozzies and falling apart, although the sheets were clean. For what we paid I expected much better. Can't fault the staff but probably wouldn't go back.

We arrived here quite early in the morning around 6:30am but they didn't have any rooms available. To accommodate us, they offered us free breakfast until a room becomes available around 9:30am and after breakfast, one of their staff members was also nice enough to check if we wanted to take a rest temporarily in his room until we are...

The rich queen was a nice accomodation to stay in. The room we had was quite big but we had a triple room. The bathrooms were clean and they provided towels. It's sort of located down a back street but the bus that we took to Mandalay dropped us off directly so we didn't have to look for it. It's...
