Staying for one night in this chalet hotel as we were on our way from our way fromfrCopenhagen to join our 'silver sea cruise ship moored 8miles from the airport hotel in Kangerlussaq. We were tired from our flight therefore this was a welcome stopover with facilities average but nevertheless adequate considering where we were in the Arctic

This is a difficult one! The hotel is really the only game in town, and as such the prices are high for the amenities offered. However it is all very clean and comfortable, and the staff welcoming and hospitable. Plus of course it is very convenient for the Airport, being part of it! Breakfast, and dinner, are served in the...

A friend and I were ferrying an airplane from Europe to the USA and made a stop here overnight (or so we thought) Weather delayed our departure by 30 hours plus. The hotel is an integral part of the airport and can be accessed without going outside. The rooms are a little spartan but certainly survivable. I am not a...

This hotel served its purpose well as an overnight stop for a cruise departure. With everyone arriving at the same time for the limited flight service, it can get hectic. There are stairs to drag heavy bags, so be prepared. Cafeteria service is good, but the real treat is the restaurant behind. Ox, reindeer and Greenlandic coffee were 5 star.

A basic airport hotel. LImited service, small rooms, tight shower. On the other hand best hotel in Kangerlussuaq. Bar busy at night, Very expensive. Some staff nice some really just dont care. You have little choice, don't fight it.

On the plus side nice staff, very helpful, nice terrace bar with view on the apron and the Black Ridge. Rooms with very, and I mean very, comfortable beds. Fridge provided. On the minus side, no elevators, quite some stairs to go up and down. Very unpractical when arriving with suitcases. No elevator.

We stayed there from 27-29 April 2011 for 2 days before returning home in order to make some interesting excursions. It’s worth stopping here. A good hotel, clean and even quiet having your room onto the runway of the airplanes. It was interesting and beautiful to see the red airplanes from Greenlandic airlines and the scientific airplanes. The hotel staff...

Understandably there isn't a wealth of accommodation options in Kangerlussuaq and much of what is there is based on the infrastructure of the US air base. Hotel Kangerlussuaq is part of the airport. You don't need to leave the terminal building to get to your room. It's a bit surreal, especially at night when the airport is effectively closed, but...

Lol honestly it is fun itself to stay at the airport literally with planefield view in the middle of the WORLD's nowhere! Fantastic! 1 shop, 100 people for hundreds miles around! And fantastic place of Greenland to enjoy! Don't blame them as they charged nearly $30 per device per day for your online surfing. The room was spacious and ppl...

The hotel rooms were actually nice and big with decent baths, but the food options for breakfast (included) or other meals was just the airport cafeteria, which was just barely passable. One nice thing: they charge you for your laundry by kilogram - no ironing, but this was so much more convenient than big city hotel laundries that charge ridiculously...
