We had each a room in the same corridor. The rooms were OK, but you have to share two bathrooms with the other rooms in the same corridor (I think in all 7 or 8 rooms). Toilet and shower was in the same bathroom, they should preferably have been separate. Having said this, the bathroom (and the rooms) was clean...

First, 'hotels' in Greenland seem more to follow a 'hostel' model in terms of having shared bathrooms. In this case, the Polar Lodge had 4 bathrooms, 2 of which had showers, so the shared facilities were not an issue, at no time were all busy. Second, this was a very warm place to stay - lots of radiators for heat...

We stayed here on two different occasions. The rooms are spartan, but there is plenty of heat and loads of hot water. The staff is what makes the difference here. They are attentive and go the extra mile. Heidi is the best thing that every happened to any establishment that deals with the public. It is a shame she cannot...

Stayed here as part of a tour and found the place quite adequate. Rooms warm and comfortable. Shared bathrooms clean and functional. Shared kitchen and dining room reasonably supplied. Two minute walk from the airport made it very handy. The only gripe from me was the wifi. It was 30krone for 1/2 hour and 50krone for 1 hour. In theory...

I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour group. Its basically a hostel with a shared bathrooms and kitchen. Didn't use the kitchen much as dinner and lunch was include with the tour package but was available if you wanted to make a snack or something. The rooms are basic and clean with more than enough outlets...

We stayed here teo nights and found it is ok. The hotel has only shared bathroom and room is small, a typical Greenlandic hotel. The location is quite convenient though, close to airport with a free wifi, post office being open at 1pm, two small shops, and supermarket. However the wifi at hotel is not free and you have to...

Stayed here for two nights. Just a ten minute walk from the airport! The reception staff, polite, friendly & helpful. You can book your tours from the reception. Pick-up & drop-off after the tours, is at the lodge. The room is basic, a good size and beds comfortable. A small dining room for your meals. Breakfast is included. There is...

There is a small shop there (good stuff at reasonable prices) where you can also buy day trips and access to the internet. The kitchen is well equipped and clean (you have to bring everything - there was not even salt left there from others cooking). The lodge is a long wooden building and even if it is shared facilities,...

I stayed in Polar Lodge for one night in early June. It is near the airport. It provides the basic breakfast, too. The staff was friendly but they only worked till 4pm. The room was small and clean. The services were very basic considering of the price I paid, $120 a night. Furthermore, I need to pay the wi-fi while...

About 75m from the airport, which also function as a bar, hotel, hairdresser and hangout venue for the 10-14 age group this hostel is on the periphery of Kangerlussuaq, the main area of residents being a 20-25min walk away round the end of the runway. There seems to be something of a monopoly as regards accommodation in the area which...
