I was quite surprised with this place located right at the centre of town. Our room was lovely, clean with a very comfortable bed, away from the main area, which made it very quiet. The breakfast was good. Couldn't ask for more.

Great location in the main square, only 20 Lei for a taxi in the evening from the rail station. Friendly helpful staff with good knowledge of transport links. Good size, well equipped room very clean. Not sure if I was just tired and at the rear of the hotel but didn't hear any church bells (mentioned in other reviews). Eateries...

Booked for one night based on the reviews. Yes it was very traditional, in a good location in the heart of the main square. BUT. Right next to the clock tower. Every chime from 10pm to 7am!! If you don't need sleep then stay here.

I am somewhat amazed as to some comments about this hotel particularly room size or were we lucky as ours was much bigger than the standard uk hotel room with a much larger bed. This is an old building with narrow frontage but extends back and opens out.The breakfast had a vast choice including fresh fruit and was probably the...

Stayed one night as part of our trip to the Ice Hotel with Untravelled Paths. The rooms are quaint and rustic, clean and spacious. Staff were welcoming, friendly and the receptionist spoke excellent English. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is perfect, fronting onto the main square in the old part of the city where there are cafes and...

This hotel is very central it is in the old town so a perfect location. There is no lift in the building and quite a few stairs to get to the top and then you might have more stairs to your room, or if you are lucky its on that floor. The room had an olden feel to it and...

We enjoyed our one night stay in this quaint hotel. Not modern, but rustic and quirky. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The rooms were spotless. The staff were friendly and keen to help. The location is central. There is no lift and we did not have a view from our room. That did not affect our stay and I...

Pros: This is an authentically furnished old bank located in the center of the old town in Braşov. It is nice to stay in such a place. Cons: no service for helping with the luggage, low speed of WIFI from the room, bad smell in the rooms, problem with shower drainage, old towels, thin walls.

We stayed via Untravelled Paths tours, they seemed to have a habit of not picking the best hotels. If I was choosing a hotel I wouldn't have chosen this. Firstly no lift, which I feel is pretty bad and then no help carrying your cases up the stairs either. The rooms are small, basic and have a funny smell (especially...

Really friendly staff. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. Right in the middle of town. Cracking little Italian just around the corner. Had good WiFi tv etc. Our room was massive. The style of the room was a touch of art deco crossed with farm house. Nothing was to fancy and was Nice and simple. Nice breakfast. Would recommend and certainly...
