Can You believe, that You enjoy the bed, in which Prince Charles slept during his visit to Plovidv, Bulgaria? in case You would like to do this-go to Hebros in Plovdiv, the Hotel is a real time machine, sending the customer in the 18th and 19th Century, a bid too expensive for Bulgaria, but still good value for money. Avoid...

The Hebros Hotel is the grand old lady of OLD TOWN, Plovdiv. Charmingly renovated but keeping the traditional style of Bulgarian architecture. Rooms large with spa baths, all beautifully appointed. Breakfast included but poor selection for the western palate. No motor traffic and wonderful walks in easy reach to heritage , archeological and craft places of interest.. Within 15 minutes...

Thank you for this review! Having only few rooms makes it difficult to offer the big variety of the big hotel for breakfast. So we are stressing out on the local and Eco products. Hope to see you again!

Authentic rustic hotel in a world heritage site. Rooms are grand tzarist style and very comfortable. The food is authentic hearty Bulgarian fare with clearly super fresh organic ingredients. Staff are very helpful.

This is my first time going to a historic kind of a hotel, where you really can feel and touch the authentic past of Bulgaria. I loved the rooms, the way how a bit of modern things like climatic or tv are incorporated into the really old rooms keeping 19th century view. Having the authentic feel is having also a...

booked all hotels from booking.com and nothing like cancellation without proper notice had happened. (maybe it's off season?) Our Bulgarian driver did have some trouble with finding the hotel, but the problem might be his navigation software because when we eventually found it, it was located not far away from the main entrance to the old town. A good location...

Called hotel directly, and booked a room months in advance. Said they'd send an email, but never did. Called back a few weeks out and the hotel confirmed we had a room. Even told us which rooms we'd be staying in. Said we didn't need an email. Took 45 min to find the hotel navigating tight roads. Walked in, they...

Thank you for this review! There must have been a big misunderstanding as we do not make reservations on the phone without a credit card number or down payment. We do not have any records about this as well. We operate since 1999 and nothing like this ever happened. Are you sure you reviewed Hebros?

Stayed here in the fall and enjoyed the beautiful historic wooden structure. Originally a house built for a wealthy family and now converted into a beautiful hotel. The historical wood-work extends in to the individual rooms and and geometric patterns on my ceiling were very intricate and showed a high level of craftsmanship. Lots of stairs and it looks like...

Great - quiet location in the historical old town. Great hospitality and friendliness received from the management and staff. The hotel is a historical treasure with rustic but very comfortable rooms. Upgrading air conditioners with less noisy units would be a recommendation for management to consider. Would definitely stay here again.

It is rare to find a combination of historical architecture, great location in a superb old town, welcoming staff, fine dining, superb wine list; but Hebros is the complete boutique package. Museums, art galleries, quaint churches, atmospheric streets, architectural gems abound within a leisurely stroll. The return home to a pleasant garden setting with exquisite food and Dimitars friendly service
