This is my first time going to a historic kind of a hotel, where you really can feel and touch the authentic past of Bulgaria. I loved the rooms, the way how a bit of modern things like climatic or tv are incorporated into the really old rooms keeping 19th century view. Having the authentic feel is having also a... More

booked all hotels from booking.com and nothing like cancellation without proper notice had happened. (maybe it's off season?) Our Bulgarian driver did have some trouble with finding the hotel, but the problem might be his navigation software because when we eventually found it, it was located not far away from the main entrance to the old town. A good location... More

Called hotel directly, and booked a room months in advance. Said they'd send an email, but never did. Called back a few weeks out and the hotel confirmed we had a room. Even told us which rooms we'd be staying in. Said we didn't need an email. Took 45 min to find the hotel navigating tight roads. Walked in, they... More

Thank you for this review! There must have been a big misunderstanding as we do not make reservations on the phone without a credit card number or down payment. We do not have any records about this as well. We operate since 1999 and nothing like this ever happened. Are you sure you reviewed Hebros? More

Stayed here in the fall and enjoyed the beautiful historic wooden structure. Originally a house built for a wealthy family and now converted into a beautiful hotel. The historical wood-work extends in to the individual rooms and and geometric patterns on my ceiling were very intricate and showed a high level of craftsmanship. Lots of stairs and it looks like... Great - quiet location in the historical old town. Great hospitality and friendliness received from the management and staff. The hotel is a historical treasure with rustic but very comfortable rooms. Upgrading air conditioners with less noisy units would be a recommendation for management to consider. Would definitely stay here again.

It is rare to find a combination of historical architecture, great location in a superb old town, welcoming staff, fine dining, superb wine list; but Hebros is the complete boutique package. Museums, art galleries, quaint churches, atmospheric streets, architectural gems abound within a leisurely stroll. The return home to a pleasant garden setting with exquisite food and Dimitars friendly service

We stayed in this hotel two nights in july before our wedding! The atmosphere was great and our room (nr.9) was the one with the bathtub in the middle. The breakfast was good as well and overall we were very pleased with our stay. The only downside - my maid of honor not being able to get inside in the... More

Our three-night stay in the Hebros began with two surprises. First we were offered a welcome drink, which was nice and refreshing . Then we got our room which actually was an apartment of two connected rooms with a spa bath . The most important thing was the properly working air condition in both rooms, as the weather was extremely... More

Our two night stay at the Hotel Hebros far exceeded our expectations. The room was very comfortable, the service was stellar, and the restaurant was so good (a number of excellent dishes to choose from) the first night we had to repeat the second night. It was our place of comfort during our enjoyable stay in Plovdiv.
