This apartment, which dates back to the 4th century, is simply great! It is very spacious, with comfortable beds, and I really like the mix of old and new! The WiFi was free and worked well. Upstairs, there is a terrace from where you can have a nice view of the old town of Split. It might get a bit...

When you go to their web site it advertises that "All visitors to this beautiful city have the ability to see Diocletian Palace, but only our guests have the privilege to be one of the few who are able to take a walk along the Palace walls." and "You can sip your daily coffee or a glass of wine under...

We are advertising properly our Villa on our web site, it is clearly stated that only the the apartment has access to the terrace and rooms NO. We are inviting all to check the content on Villa-marta.com This guest is a big complainer, he cancelled the second night and we did not want to pay anything, after that he started...

Excellent location inside Diocletian's Palace. Amazing room with real palace walls inside! Bed was comfortable and big enough for two. Hosts were very friendly and helpfull. For romantic couples,if you open all the windows you can enjoy great jazz/blues music from bar below and watch video projections on city walls (from room no.1).

We stayed in Room 3 which is on the top floor and benefits from a mezzanine floor which includes kitchen facilities. There is also a roof top terrace. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Well situated in the Diocleasian Palace. There are no lifts in the building so be aware of 3 short sets of stairs which may...

Stayed one night – September 2015. Nice design. Bathroom is carved out of a portion of the original palace wall with exposed boulders. Great location within walled city. Noisy bar below with outside seating. Windows are new and good quality but not enough to block the noise. Closing windows, turning on AC plus ear plugs worked fine for me, but...

It is a very nice appartment. A must do for someone who likes history and comfort combined. It is right in the centre of town, and close to shops and restaurants, and nice music. It has a good air conditioing (necessary in summer).

The location is unbeatable; you are in the old palace & one can see that on the walls inside the room. During the night it got loud from the outside - because of the many small bars just under the apartment, but it's ok. Once you fall asleep - it's all forgotten. The owner was very friendly & helpful. We...

great apartment in old town.Modern design, but built incorporating part of old town wall- very cool. Agent excellent to deal with, minded our bags until room available, had good tips on restaurants and transfers.Suggest book directly with agent for better rate- we stayed twice in recent holiday and found this best.

This was so beautiful. The room was really modern set in the historical center. I couldn't believe we are staying in UNESCO. Pieces of old stones are sticking out of the walls and it's creating very interesting and beautiful room. Shower was interesting too, if you are bit large then don't choose the bottom room as the bathroom is quite...
