I was so impressed with this hostel! The owners were so lovely and more than happy to go above and beyond so that you enjoy your stay! Very clean and tidy hostel with a home-like feel. Excellent big kitchen too. Other reviews said something about the bathrooms being dirty but just was not true!

We loved this place, one of the cleanest places and most friendly staff - perfect for any occasion. Good location, close to the city centre. Nice spacious rooms, lovely bathrooms and a great kitchen which included a toastie machine! We definitely would come back

I spent a couple of days in the Hotspot Hostel and the experience was really good! the hostel ist very confortable and central. Fran (Paquito) and the other guys in the hostel made us feel at home. I got a lot of tips of what to do in the city, and even got fresh pancakes for dinner one night. I...

Home away from home! Loved every day and night spent here. The boys are friendly, fun, but very focused on customer service and making sure everyone is happy/knows the best tips for Split/is safe and comfortable. Walking in was like walking into a family home, with a massive kitchen filled with the essentials plus free tea, coffee, and delish biscuits....

We stayed in this hostel for 2 nights. It was very convenient to beach and promenade in Split. There was a kitchen area available for use with pans and a hob. Rooms were very tidy and clean. Only downside was its on the fourth floor (so many stairs!)

I have stayed a night with my friend Svenja K. in this hostel in Split. We booked a double-room and got a cosy and welcoming room which was clean and well furnished. The service was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about Split and what to visit :) Many thanks for everything!

After leaving Croatia it became apparent that I had left my journal at the Hostel. To their credit they took the time to find and send it to me and for that I am grateful. So a heartfelt thanks. Overall I thought the experience was fine. Turned into more of a home stay, lodgings being in an apartment building nearby....

This was, by far, my worst hostel experience ever. We had booked 2 beds in a 4-bed female dorm, but, on the first night, we were put in a 12-bed mixed dorm, with no reimbursement. On the second night, we were put in the 4-bed dorm, which had an unlockable door to the common terrace - so no safety whatsoever...

10 percent deposit paid, booking confirmed 5 months ahead. on arrival staff denied all knowledge of deposit or booking despite having a booking reference etc. Hostel was full so no room at the inn...... Staff offered to find somewhere else...... as soon as this offer was reluctantly accepted, a man appeared immediately to take them away to another apartment......suspiciously quickly...

It is messy, unorganised, and the staff just do not gicare AT ALL. The check-in was neverending, they asked me the passport (as a deposit). At the same time, we saw an argument between the receptionist and a group of italians, it seemed that the group booked 15 beds and the hostel did not have place for them... We should...
