This is my second visit to Croparadise Hostel this year. It is centrally located near the Diocletion Palace, just up the hill from the inter-city bus depot. All of the city's major attractions are within a short walking distance. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The guests are of all ages and nationalities. Costs are modest and laundry service is...

We stayed for 7 nights in a private twin room. The room itself was very basic. However for the price, it was spacious and well equipped. The shower head broke in our second day and after reporting it to the check-in desk, it was fixed that same day. The room was a short walk away from the check-in desk or...

Although the staff were really helpful, we can't help but feel the apartment wasn't quite fit for purpose... We had the twin 'Spring Green' apartment - it was a basement room with little ventilation meaning it smelt of damp. It was at the lower end of our limits for cleanliness and certainty not as clean as other Hostels we've stayed...

We opted for the private twin room, which was brilliant and had everything we needed. Great value and really didn't feel like a hostel at all! On that note though, if you're looking for a more social hostel this might not be the best choice - our room was a good 5-10 minute walk from the hostel itself so we...

Good location close to the Old Town.We stayed in a double private room which was comfy and had plenty of room. The room was in a shared apartment and the room was next to the kitchen so was kept up if people cooking late or early. Not stayed in a hostel based in apartments before so was something to get...

We checked in here for 1 night before we headed to Hvar. We were walked for 5 minutes away from the hostel to a neighbourhood where we were shown to a basement apartment. Our room smelt like mildew/damp which wasn't pleasant made worse when you needed the aircon on as it moved the smell around. The kitchenette was very small/basic,...

The perfect hostel to stay if you want to have a good central base to travel around split. The rooms are comfortable and of a good size and also there is a shared kitchen area hat has everything you need. A cheap base for those looking to explore split.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this place - it's incredibly close to the palace and waterfront. Check-in was a bit hectic, there were many people checking in the same day/time as I was, but the rooms are nice and I'll agree with others in saying that the beds are extremely comfy. I had a TV in...

My boyfriend and I stayed in a 'green double ensuite'. It was in a great location - only 5 minutes from the ferry and centre of town. However it was also 5 minutes away from the rest of the green hostel. We were okay with this but might be bad if you wanted to meet other people. The room was...

Stayed here for three nights in a double room. Pros - the room was nice and big, good lockers, comfortable bed, TV with heaps of new releases, good location to old town, clean, working kitchen. Cons - the shower went cold quickly, the shower head was broken, the wifi barely worked in our room, noisy outside, reception wasn't very helpful....

“If you can stay at the green location. It is only marginally more expensive for the private rooms and it was a much cozier environment and it is by far the cleanest and most user friendly hostel I've ever been to.”
