Stayed here for two days with a friend. Great hostel withe friendly staff, clean facilities. Everyone has a locker, solid bunk-beds that don't squeak. The foyer/common area has a large table to meet people, have breakfast and hangout. Would happily stay here again.

Staff were good, the rooms are pretty average so a night or 2 would be fine at Silver Central. Air con in the room didn't work properly but luckily it was mild weather so wasn't too bad! Close enough to everything, 5-10 minutes walk from the main terminal.

I was there for two nights and this hostel is exactly average. Positive points: has breakfast, comfortable beds, well located, good showers. Negative points: floor and surfaces were dirty, kitchen is really limited (there is no oven/stove or sink), there are no shower rooms and you have to get dry and ready inside of the shower, you wash the dishes...

Booked to stay in the hostel in private room. Arrived at the hostel, which is super central and looks really modern and cozy inside to be told we were getting 'the private apartment'bit deflated and excited altogether ..apartment sounded fancy but the fun of the hostel might be lost. Walked for five minutes out of hostel around bend etc etc...

We had the private apartment for 2 nights in split. Silver Central staff were fab helping us check in, take us to the apartment & help provide info about the area. The apartment is in a fantastic location. Slightly out of the main high street meaning nice & quiet in the evenings, but only about 100m from the main drag...

We arrived rather late (around 11pm) in the day as we'd caught a late flight, the hostel desk is only open until 10:30pm but someone was very happy to meet us later if need be! On first glance, the hostel doesn't look particularly welcoming however once you are inside, it is fine. As we arrived late, we didn't get any...

I casually walked in about a month ago on a multimonth trip through Europe and was given exceptional advice from the very helpful tall woman at the front desk. Her English and her suggestions were impeccable. I was planning on staying several nights while waiting for friends that I was to meet in Split but was informed that they were...

I guess I could be writing this under the Silver Gate apartments, as my boyfriend and I stayed in a private double room just up the street from the main hostel. The location is amazing, 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal, just outside the old city walls, and 5 minutes from the main pedestrian walkway and shopping area. We...

Amazing and cosy hostel with a friendly vibe and clean facilities. Perfect for resting in the midst of a Euro trip or just dropping your bags down to go explore! The lady at the front desk was extremely pleasant looked after every customer that walked through :)

“If you're in a double room, ask for the first one (closest to the front door), as the other double room is at the very back of the apartment and the view isn't very good. Front room is massive, has the wifi router inside of it (so the signal is super strong) and a view of the whole street, the bell tower, and the ocean. Unreal.”
