We had two nights in this apartment which is in a very good location, It was nice and clean. Breakfast at a nearby cafe was included, although only juice, coffee and a croissant. We had the 3 person studio which is a double bed downstairs and a lounge upstairs to sleep on. It is suitable for a couple but I... More

This is a wonderful, cosy place to stay, right in the middle of the Dicoletian's Palace. Our host was especially welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of recommendations to make our stay perfect. The apartment is also well equipped with things for cooking. There are places nearby to get nice food and drinks.

I would echo all other positives reviews here about how great Irina is as a host and how unique it is to stay at Salvezani apartments. The refurbishment of this building has been done with great care and the result is a restful, homely bolthole within the bustling city. We stayed in the 3-person apartment which offers a great little... More

What an awesome place to stay! After a week cruising the Croatian Islands we felt right at home in this apartment with everything we needed. Irena gave us a great introduction to Split. She told us about the 15th Century original walls and showed us around the unit. We were grateful for the washing machine (and all of the other... More

We arrived on the bus from Split airport, which was easy and cheap, got directions from TI (we thought) Apparently we missed the street we needed and came in the basement..lots of very high steps! At the apartment more steps...steep and a very narrow doorway with more steps to the apartment. We were 2 couples in 2 rooms which were... More

The apartment was fantastic. Clean and smack bang in the middle of the Diocletian palace. It was a bit tricky getting the car close then finding parking but it was also dark and raining. The apartment itself was comfy and clean. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Chose this appartment based on trip advisor and was not disappointed. Fantastic position. Teeny tiny and steep stairs. Lovely owner but was disappointed that the third bed was not made up for us on arrival. Upon contacting the owner she said she would be there in 20 minutes. We waited 90 minutes and did numerous costly phone calls before having... More

This apartment is deep within the walls of the Diocletian palace, steps away from the prime sites of Split, but providing a quiet, clean and comfortable retreat from the tourist chaos. We loved it! It is NOT for the infirm or physically challenged. Your GPS may attempt to lead you to the front door --this is impossible, as the roads,... More

I have no hesitation recommending Salvezani apartments. You get to stay in a beautifully restored house within the palace complex and feel really looked after. Meeting Irina was a highlight of my trip to Croatia. She made me feel welcome, gave me some lovely insight into the town and culture and managed to get me a last minute dinner booked... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
These three beautifully restored apartments are situated in the very heart of Diocletian's palace. The house that they are in was built in 16th century. Two apartments are split-level and encompass second floor and attic space and measure 30m2 and 35m2 respectively. The third apartment is on the first floor and has a separate entrance. It is worth noting that in recent years, Diocletian's Palace has been used as a filming location for the HBO series "Game of Thrones". For those of you who are familiar with it, you will for example, see streets and basements of Diocletian's Palace in parts of Daenerys Targaryen's city of Meereen. ... more   less
