There were three of us staying here. Location is fantastic; right in the heart of the action...a little unfortunate when we were there that some construction was being done in the adjoining space, but given that we were out all day it was more just an inconvenience coming and going and certainly didn't impact the apartment itself. The apartment has... More

We loved this little apartment in the centre of the old palace in Split. The bedroom was large and the kitchen/lounge was well equipped for a short holiday. The bathroom was small but worked really well. The stone walls are all original and the apartment is from 16th century. There are about 10 steps to get up to the apartment.... More

A very nice apartment with a touch of medieval spirit. Great location and equipped with a little kitchen which was useful with a baby. Also a nice owner. Cons: Narrow and steep stairs which can be a problem for little children. Also with large baby strollers the apartment may be unreachable so you have to leave them outside. The breakfast... More

Second time here. Spent few days in one of the apartments. Great place to feel like a citizen of Split. The apartments are part of an old house in the oldest part of Split so yes, there are stairs and they are narrow - welcome to the town of the Old world. Location is just amazing.

1. No one met us to welcome us. A note was left at the door telling us the key was with a local bartender. 2. We had been told that affordable parking was available nearby. We were NOT told that this parking was at a meter that needed replenishing every two hours during the day. 3. The website photos show... More

Dear guests, I am very sorry that you were disappointed with your stay, this is also very upsetting for me. It is unfortunate that I was on a business trip when you arrived and wasn't able to greet you however, when this happens I do leave a note to pick up the keys in the nearby cafe. There are rarely... It is a small gem in the district, great location with low price. House equipped with all kinds of living necessities, decorated with a character. We felt like at home. Also, the breakfast provided from next door cafe was awesome. Home made croissant with a tasty coffee enlightened my stay in Salvezani Apartment. Sure will visit again.

This is an apartment in an 13th C. building inside the heart of the Old City and steps from Diocletian Palace. It is not huge, but it is well stocked with the comforts home. Thoughtful touches include some cooking supplies (salt, oil, balsamic, etc), nice toiletries, and charming décor. The owner is extremely helpful and went out her way to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
These three beautifully restored apartments are situated in the very heart of Diocletian's palace. The house that they are in was built in 16th century. Two apartments are split-level and encompass second floor and attic space and measure 30m2 and 35m2 respectively. The third apartment is on the first floor and has a separate entrance. It is worth noting that in recent years, Diocletian's Palace has been used as a filming location for the HBO series "Game of Thrones". For those of you who are familiar with it, you will for example, see streets and basements of Diocletian's Palace in parts of Daenerys Targaryen's city of Meereen. ... more   less
