I go to Antigua every year for volunteering, but also to relax and enjoy the many wonderful things Guatemala and Antigua offers. I have a few favorite hotels but accidentally discovered this when my "usuals" were already booked for part of my stay. I can't praise or recommend Cissus enough. Byron and David (the staff we met) were very kind, soliticious, friendly and anxious to make our stay wonderful. They even brought our breakfast up to our private terrace to enjoy. Our room was comfortable and the hotel was super quiet - which was surprisingly given its central location. The views of the volcanoes were spectacular from our private terrace. We very much loved our entire experience and hated to leave. Definitely will be coming back on my next trip. Muchas gracias, Cissus y Byron y David!

Love this little gem! The rooms are large and clean. Beautifully decorated. The host is amazing! Order the fresh eggs in the morning. The hotel will arrange taxi service from and to the airport upon request.

I dont normally write reviews but we had the most amazing time at Cissus Hotel with my family. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, very small so you feel like you have the hotel to yourself. Breakfast is served at place and time of your Choice. Location is great with only a 4 minute walk to the main square. All in all a wonderfull experience, the best me and my family had in a long time!!

I have been a dedicated customer of the Cissus since 2008 when I discovered it while we were in Antigua with a film crew and I needed a quiet place to get away from everyone at night. I had a lovely room with a great table outside to do my paperwork and the staff were incredible. They brought me a lovely bottle of wine and couldn't have made me feel more at home or more cared for. Since then, it is the only place I stay. It is convenient to everything in Antigua and yet, has the private and calm feeling of being peacefully secluded. It is lovely and comfortable and once again, so importantly, the staff are consistently attentive and caring.

What a wonderful, wonderful hotel - amazing staff, fabulous breakfast and one of the nicest rooms we've ever seen. The pictures from the management are an absolutely accurate representation. Not sure what else to say really, except thank you Cissus for a great start to our holiday!
