We booked into another hotel and after dropping our bags we decided to roam around and look for a restaurant. We came across this hotel and were taken by the surroundings and its structure. It has a tiny play area in the courtyard and the food was pretty good. It was only after our meal that we noticed this room;... More

This hotel is gorgeous. The staff is very attentative and helpful. We asked questions For directions where to eat and shop and they can arrange shuttles to the airport. Is better not to purchase shuttles from gray lines thru Expedia is better to purchase the shuttles at the airport. Much cheaper.

The stay in the hotel was terrible . The relation between price and quality is defiantly not coherent. There was a lot of noise I couldn't sleep all night long. The parking lot is almost 8 blocks away and no one helps you with the luggage. I just wouldn't recommend the hotel at all!

We lived in Antigua for five years, so we know the area very well. We selected this hotel for our return visit because we knew it was both centrally located and reasonably priced. We were happy with our choice, as the room had plenty of space, the courtyard was pleasant, and the staff were wonderfully friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Some... More

We went for dinner and it was quite tasty. The presentation was nice too. The kids meal was nice and small. Pasta was tasty and so were the fries. Great homemade chips. They have live music playing after 7 but we came before and they were not very busy. A lovely atmosphere.

My family and I stayed in an apartment very close to here so decided to give it a try for breakfast. We ended up going back every morning for our time in Antigua. The surroundings are beautiful and it is very peaceful. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. We tried just about every breakfast on the menu and... More

This is a stunning location and accommodation house. Located right under the famous Arch of Antigua, the hotel is in a building that is almost 500 years old. Now the rooms are spacious and the atrium full of plants and a fountain. The decor is excellent and sets a wonderful, historic mood. However - beware light sleepers! The convent includes... More

we liked our room, very reasonable price, very close to everything. A bit too close to everything. It is right in front of the famous Arch, so there are a lot of visitors at the restaurant. There is a lot of noise from the Arch bell. Not a great place for light sleepers. But the staff is very kind, the... More

I spent three nights at this lovely hotel and had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay. The part of the hotel I stayed in had a large open courtyard with lounge chairs, overlooking the 400 year old wall of the original convent. By my door was a smaller courtyard with plants and flowers and hummingbird visits. Faintly I could hear the... More

Stayed here Good Friday-Easter Monday 2016. The perfect location for Semana Santa. The staff is lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. We felt like we were staying with friends or family. The restaurant is also good, and handy. You can't get any closer to the Arch. The draw back about that is the clock does chime if you are a light... More
