We stayed here over the weekend for two nights, and although the small amount of time we had - it was restaurant was top-notch, we ate breakfast there and lunch once. You get an amazing view of Volcán de Agua and the busy streets of Antigua are right outside. The hotel features an impressive courtyard with a fountain. Extremely good...

My companion and I had lunch on the the upper terrace. Great cuisine, great views of volcanos. Attentive, personalbe waiter. My Pasta with shrimp and crab meat was done to perfection and, by report, my companion's chicken salad stuffed avocado was "scrumptious." The hotel interior is also a feast for the eyes, the interior garden magical. And for those who...

This hotel was charming. The staff excellent. The room was located first floor over looking a lovely garden were you could access the dining room. The bed was fine, a bit firm but fine. The pillows are flat. Beware that most places do not give you wash clothes (face clothes) . I think women may want to bring one so...

This hotel is set around tranquil courtyards filled with colourful flowers. The rooms retain some of their original features but are thoroughly up to date in terms of facilities. You breakfast overlooking the flowers - very peaceful and relaxing.

We had a dinner event at the hotel which included almost 40 people. The staff assigned to the preparations was impressive. In particular, Carmen Gramajo took special care of us. The hotel has a reputable restaurant so we were confident that the meal would be good ...and we were not disappointed!

Visited restaurant, did not stay at the hotel. A beautiful classic Antigua courtyard with fountains and flowering plants galore. The restaurant was super busy and the service was friendly but REALLY slow, over 30 minutes for our salads to come out. The lettuce was wilted and warm when they finally arrived. Waited another 25 minutes for our entrees. Partner had...

Safe, centrally located In pretty Antigua, hotel full of charm that accompanies renovated 300 year old family residence with garden squares. Room double doors are heavy with each key having a special relationship with its lock. Hardwood floors. Windows vary. No AC/heat (60F Feb night), high beamed ceilings. Time for all well worn bedding to be replaced as well as...

This is a gorgeous, historic building that is over 300 years old, but at the same time it is perfectly maintained with all modern conveniences. You can walk all over town from this location but the hotel is so beautiful, you hate to leave the building. There is a nightly dinner show with marimba music and masked dancers. The breakfasts...
