I had been staying with my daughter in a Women's refuge she initiated in a little village 60 minutes walk uphill from La Antigua. How anyone can complain about anything after that experience has NO compassion...No TV, Radio, Hot water,no Glass in window spaces and in doors where there were doors. All the people I saw and said Ola! to...

Arrived at the hotel and once situated in our room, there were several things that we noticed right away. First, there was an unpleasant odor. This odor worsened when the water in the bathroom was turned on. The "bathroom" was very small - I could wash my hands, empty my bladder, and (almost) take a shower without leaving the same...

We really loved this place. It's charming, and our room (the second floor suite) was very clean, beautifully decorated, great view across the rooftop to the volcano. Karla's English is good, and she was very helpful, arranging rides for us and answering questions. She's not a native of Antigua, so we didn't find her the perfect person to help us...

I was so disappointed in this hotel, that we only stayed there an hour. I told my husband that I didn't care what it cost, but we had to find another place to stay. We were the only people there. No one spoke English. We couldn't get the wifi to work. You had to let the water run for 10...

Karla is wonderfully friendly and helpful, the place has only 5 rooms/suite so it's very quiet. Perfect breakfast served as you like (thanks Vanessa) and we know that those little attentions are making the difference : I felt at home there. And the view from the rooftop is simply the best you can imagine in Antigua! I'm loooking forward to...

This hotel is in a beautiful building in the northeast quadrant of the old city. It is an easy walk to the central square and two blocks from the city's fanciest hotel, St. Domingo. We stayed in the master suite, which was incredibly luxurious and about half the price of a basic room at St. Domingo. The room was huge...

The place is a gem. Quiet, excellent bed, great shower, super breakfast. It was also the site of incredible kindness. Karla, the hostess of the place, helped us arrange a five am taxi, got up with us to make sure it arrived, and waved us good bye. I left a canvas bicycle bag in the taxi when we hopped out...

Lovely little hotel. Warm staff. Great rooftop sitting area. Only 5 rooms. The included breakfast was great. They served pancakes. But we were hoping for some eggs. It was no problem, she scrambled some right up for us with salsa too! It's a little bit of a walk to town but it's quieter. It's a trade off, depends what you're...

I ended up staying here twice while in Guatemala. At the beginning and end of my trip. The hotel and rooms were great and located in an easily walkable area of Antigua. I highly recommend staying here during your trip. Clara, Freddy, and everyone were awesome and helpful.

This is a small but elegant little bed and breakfast. It is quiet and secure but still close to the bustling city center. The rooms are large and all open out into a beautiful interior courtyard. The rooftop patio has chairs and tables and was a wonderful place to sit and watch clouds passing over the volcano and enjoy a...
