This is the very nicest hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. Every single detail has far exceeded any expectation. The colonial decor, the staff and the beds are great highlights about this hotel. The beds are like clouds. I wish I could recreate this exact setup at my house. Thank you and I hope to return someday.
The Hotel is extremely beautifull!!!. The beds are awsome and the food was really delicious. The roof top is amazing. The Jacussi is working from 9a.m. to 9 p.m. The room service was really nice and the service was very really professional. Next year we plan to return to Antigua Guatemala to Camino Real. The experience was unforgotable!!!!.
We were brought here by Camiba Cultural Tours and we were not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, well located, friendly staff. Very honest room service. I left the safe open and nothing was missing when I came back. I will definitely stay here again
We have recently visited Antigua and staying at Camino Real, made it a perfect experience. Great service, tidy and excellent food. We definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again. Thank you to all that made it so pleasant.
Very clean, comfortable room, excellent food, nice vibe. The service was very good. Its location is excellent. They offer coffee in designated station available all day ! and for someone like who loves coffee is a big plus.
This is the place to stay if you want luxury. It was almost a shame to leave the hotel to adventure out into the city. The staff...superb The rooms...beautiful, clean, comfortable The food...delicious and what service I will tell you that we enjoyed venturing out for most of our meals at the many tiny restaurants near the hotel most days rather than being pampered in the restaurant. For me, I wanted to see more of the local culture. My daughter at at the hotel for more meals than I did. She enjoyed the spa and pampered attention she received at the hotel. The hotel is one of the few that have air conditioned rooms. It is nice just in case it is unusually warm. The location is at the end of town so it was quiet. It had perfect views of the volcanos. I was originally worried about being on the end of town, but I learned that Antigua is a walking city. Everything is very close. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.…
Amazing hotel, with beautiful installations and great service. Highly recommended. The bar and restaurant are perfect and they also have a very nice jacuzzi, ideal to relax after a busy day. Thank you Camino Real for the nice experience, we will definitely be coming back soon!
We've stayed here a number of times over the years. The colonial design and atmosphere are lovely. The main lack is open space and a pool. We were beset in the whirlpool by children diving and jumping, and despite complaints, management did nothing. We cut our stay short.
Beautiful hotel in a colonial style, located a bit on the outskirts of Antigua center. Excellent exteriors, rooms though pretty standard, but clean and nitty. Bathrooms in an American standard, not an usual thing in Antigua. Very good restaurant. They get 4/5 because all day long they play a 'relaxing music' which wakes you up at 6am and is not over by 10pm. Very annoying in the rooms adjacent to the common areas.
Fantastic accommodations! My oversized room had a vaulted ceiling in both the bed area and bathroom. This is newer property that has the feel and charm of one built a century ago. The staff is very attentive to any needs, and the food and service is top notch. We also held a small private dinner in their banquet area which was 5 star! I highly recommend this property and will be back!
