We stumbled onto Hotel Casa Antigua at the last minute, as we were changing our travel plans. It is made from two adjoining, renovated colonial houses with high ceilings, antique touches (including a pulley to open/shut a skylight in room #5), and beautiful gardens/courtyards.…
This is a centrally located hotel for people wanting a decent place to stay at a fair price in Antigua. We had two rooms and they were very different in size so worth asking for a spacious room when booking. The smaller room also smelt very strongly of cleaning fluid but it did…
I loved staying here! It was my first time in Antigua Guatemala, indeed in Central America; and while I loved the city, it was easy to escape back to our little oasis. I stayed with my daughter and son-in-law in a spacious room with 2 double beds. The room was clean and…
I stayed here for my first and last nights on my trip to Guatemala so I was in 2 different rooms. Both rooms were great. I had no problems! Beautiful hotel! I love the outside sitting areas and the rooftop! Also right downtown in Antigua, walking distance to everything!
Good rooms, regular size for a 3-Star hotel. Lovely interior courtyards, perfect for reading or enjoying a coffee (which is free). Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful. Just one block from the central plaza, so close to everything. I would happily return here.
"3 and 5 have great bed flexibility, but are next to the Sat AM buffet line which woke us up earlier than hoped"
"All the rooms had individual characters. Would liked to have tried them all!"
"Room 20 is a nice room with a balcony and view over some of the city."
"ask for a 'quiet room'"
"Room #9 has great view of the PC skyline"
