I just stopped by for lunch (which was delicious), but I could have easily stayed longer. It's not the easiest place to get to, but that is part of the charm! The views are amazing and there is plenty of space to relax.

We stayed in the tree house for three nights - was stunning to be able to watch volcano fuego erupting and spewing lava from our bed. We also experienced a minor earth tremor which had the whole edifice swaying. Laid back atmosphere and very friendly volunteers running the place. For yoga enthusiasts the hammock platform is a great setting for...

I don't like to visit a city more than once in my travels, but this hotel alone makes me want to come up with another reason to visit Antigua. Everything was excellent from the service, the delicious family meals each night, the relaxing atmosphere and the hotel dogs that roam around. Our treehouse was perfect. December is a great month...

I am looking foreword to going back to earth lodge next month. It has been a year but the enchanting and inspirational experience has stayed embedded in my soul. This is not a hostel but it has a hostel vibe. People come and go either overnight or just for the day ..both world travellers and people coming quite a distance...

Everything is lovely about this place. Do skip it if you're into the finer things in life and luxurious accommodations -- earth lodge is about back to basics . Which does not mean they don't have a bar and restaurant that rivals anything in Guatemala. Just the beer selection is splendid. A solid recommend. Even if you stay elsewhere in...

This place is absolutely incredible. We were recommended to go here by family. All the guests here were wonderful and the food was so delicious. The views were spectacular. The staff let the place down however. Did they work there? Didn't they? It was hard to tell as they were lazing about the place most of the time.

I stayed at Earth Lodge over Thanksgiving for a few days and it was everything I hoped it would be--relaxing, beautiful, and a cool spot for solo travelers. I ate and slept well and met some great people. Dinners are served family style, and they shut the wifi off for the night around 7, so it was easy to connect...

Two of us came for some Sunday Vibes, and we weren't disappointed. Soft Rock in the background, clean and spacious grounds, super friendly staff, view of the valley you just can't beat, and some drinks to go with. The driver was punctual in picking us up and dropping us off (Q15 pp one-way). We enjoyed the bbq burgers, although the...

I stayed in the canopy cabins with my daughters, ages 6 and 9 for three nights. We had a wonderful time. The girls loved the playground and I enjoyed lying in a hammock after our tiring travels in Guate. Earth Lodge is not really an authentic Guatemalan experience... by far most people there were foreigners, and it was pricey for...

This is by far one of the best experiences i've had in Central America, we stayed at la Cabaña de La Tierra (I guess that's it's name) and we had a clear view of the Volcan de Fuego Erupting, the dinner was awesome along everyone else staying in the hotel. The beds are comfy, food is nice, people there is...
