My wife and I stayed at the Cliff Lodge just after Christmas 2014, on our first visit to Nantucket. We were lucky enough to be the only guests at the Inn, so our experience is a little different than that of most visitors. The Inn was comfortable and cozy, and all the more so because we had the place to...

This a fabulous old house converted into a more even fabulous B&B. The location couldn't be better. It is on a beautiful old quiet street and it is just a couple of blocks to the whaling museum (a must see) and the quaint downtown area with all of the nice restaurants and interesting shops. We stayed in the downstairs "apartment"...

Just returned from a wonderful weekend! Trich was wonderful, as was the inn. I didn't notice any of the things mentioned in some of the other reviews. Maybe as a New Englander I knew what to expect - this is a historic site, not a chain hotel- my room was clean, comfortable, and very cute. It was off season but...

We stayed three nights in room 5. It's a larger room with a shower/tub and a sun porch. Everything was very clean though the sun room window sills needed to be wiped down. Trish is charming and engaged with all the guests and does her utmost to assist guests with requests. Breakfast is simple but fresh. Guests are welcome to...

My boyfriend and I started a tradition a few years back of coming to nantucket for vacation every summer. We try not to spend a crazy amount on lodging because we aren't usually in the room very much. I'm rating this one on the lower end of things because there is simply no reason for a lot of the issues....

The most recent reviews are right on! We stayed here for a wedding and our group had the entire building. We rented the "apartment" and though it was spacious, I found it lacking in some areas. The private deck was lovely though in desperate need of new furniture. I sat in a chair and it crumbled under me because it...

Unfortunately our expectations were not managed as well as they could have been when we arrived at Cliff Lodge. The Inn needs updating. The bathrooms are tiny, hardware is rusty and the lights are terribly loud that make you often contemplate whether it is worth having light. The window blinds are cheap and bright light comes in first thing in...

I'm curious why no reviews have been submitted since May. Maybe because for us and others it was just OK. Not terrible but not great either. Trich the innkeeper was nice and always came out to chat at breakfast. She's new to the position and it seemed she was still learning how things work. I don't fault her but it...

We came here in April, the weekend before Daffodil Weekend and it so SO beautiful. The weather was fantastic. The Cliff Lodge was great, Trich, the inn keeper could not be more lovely. She was so nice upon our arrival and told us of a few restaurants/bars to try, it was late. But she was right on the money, sent...

Just came back from a fabulous weekend on Nantucket. We got the groupon for the Cliff Lodge and it was a very pleasant experience. Our room was on the first floor at the front of the house which I was nervous about at first (noise wise) but it was fine and the room was beautiful. The wine was also quite...
