We had a wonderful experiece staying at the Sherbourne Inn in Nantucket. Susan and her team did not spare a detail to make this beautiful, welcoming, elegant and comfortable inn feel like the home you want to stay and live in permanently. Great location a few streets from the Center. Comforable rooms with the very best of everything. Even a...

Lovely small B&B with a perfect location. Short walk to everything in town. Owner provides a number of nice small touches, such as cookies and lemon infused water in the late afternoon and sherry at night. She'll also give advice on bike paths, restaurants, etc.

We came to a wedding and wanted a homebase from which to also enjoy the island for several days. The Sherburne Inn was perfect: three blocks from the ferry, a few minutes walk to great restaurants and shops, a short walk to the shuttles that take you all over the island. But the best part was the comfortable, well furnished...

Charming, quaint, lovely! The inn is located on a one way street which makes it quiet and peaceful. The room (#6), although on the small side (which we knew from the description), and bathroom were immaculate when we arrived. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was convenient to have coffee available early in the morning in the...

My husband and I have been going to Nantucket every year for the past 20 years. This year we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary there and were fortunate enough to stay at the Sherburne Inn. It was by far the best B&B we've stayed in "on island", (and we've stayed in many!). The rooms were beautifully decorated and the inn...

My wife and I spent six days there at the end of July. We have been to four other Nantucket B&B's over the past six years and Sherburne Inn is the best by far. I must have a firm bed and we like kings; they have two rooms with kings...one with your own little terrace.

Isn't attention to detail what any memorable stay comes down to? And Susan has it down pat, from individual Keurig coffees, and muffin and fruit basket delivered to your door in the morning, to refreshing lemonade and cookies in the afternoon. I can go on: fresh towels placed daily on the garden furniture, beach towels and chairs at the ready,...

When we heard that the central air "was a little weak" in room #8 - "King of the Hill", we installed an individual AC window unit the next day. Now our guests in Room #8 have options between our central air conditioning and their own AC unit for optimum individual comfort. Thank you so much for your kind and straight...

We had a business meeting in Boston and decided to go to Nantucket for a few days. Did only a little research and wound up booking at the Sherburne Inn. I could just tell when booking it, that it was going to be a nice stay. Susan, who owns the Inn, is so friendly and helpful. The place is immaculate,...

Not only was the Sherburne Inn a five star B&B situated in one of the most historic buildings on the Island, but the staff was top notch as well. We felt like we were staying with family for the weekend. Susan--one of the owners--greeted us every morning with a smile, helpful ideas, and great restaurant recommendations. The rooms aren't big,...
